    Hi, my dog is going through something similar now and has seen 3 vets who have suggested epilepsy but I’m not sure, and she acts very similar to this x

    Omg. This just broke my heart. Is she ok now? Did you ever get a diagnosis? My frenchie suffered a seizure attack after heat exposure and I quickly cooled him down by putting him in the tub with cool water.

      We found out she was not having a seizure but had ruptured/slip a disc in her back and it was causing her severe pain. We went ahead with the surgery suggested by our vet here locally in sonoma county. She had a good 6 month recovery but is doing amazing now and no more pain or symptoms.

      ITS the breed only. The nose got smaller and smaller so they can't sweat and make emergency cooling by laying on the floor with them belly. The eyes can pop off only by pulling the neck a little bit. They can't breath with this little space in moth and nose. And they have many hearth problems. This breed suffers the whole life. Make your RESEARCH Next time please don't buy a dog because it looks cute.

      @@givinglzzz5482 that has nothing to do with the spine and disk issues that dogs and french bulldogs often suffer from. This isn't a french bulldog only condition, and if youre talking about the issues frenchies sometimes have because of stenotic nares or tracea issues, that isn't this breed only either. Please stop spreading misinformation.

    Hi hope ur dog is now okay just wanted to ask when your dog was going through the pain with the slip disc how long did the episodes last for
    My dog has recently started doing the same thing we are waiting for a neurologist appointment but his episodes last for quite a long time so I’m starting to think it could be a problem with his back and not seizures

    Hi one question, how often did this happen? My dog is doing this too but its only happening at nights while he is sleeping

      Was this the same with your dog? Ours does it every once in a while, like a few times a week, then all good for a month then again. Otherwise very active brawling with her brother every day without signs of pain. We can't find a trigger and vet can't find what is wrong.

      Noah Srss Thank you so much for your reply. I'm happy to hear that things went well! Can you just tell me was your doggy able to walk and run and jump? Mine is having very very similar symptoms, but he has moments when he jumps and runs... All the vets are confused... they don't think its coming from his spine...

    • @noahsrss5592
      @noahsrss5592 6 лет назад +2

      She was doing the same thing. She would be fine and play all day than an episode would occur. She would jump and run around and stuff but than randomly she would go into the episode. The doctors here did a mri and found a rupture disc that at time would get inflamed and really hurt her. Almost like having a spasm of pain than she starts to feel better after the episode. Have you video taped the incident? If so, and you could show me i might be able to help. Unfortunately the only thing that will help is pain meds and prednisone which arent good for your dog long term but do help for sure and could help fix the issue. That and tell you and your vet decide if surgery is needed

      I have no words to thank you enough. Thanks to this video I started beleiving he has the same problem with spine and we found vets who said its coming from the spine and we are waiting now for neurological exam. Kiss your doggy and hug her for us. Thanks once again.

    It only gets worse. Longer it’s alive, the more pain it endures, but hey! It’s worth it because it’s a “cute” dog.

      Check out a vid by The mysterious miss X. Now I know what you're thinking ...... no...... it's a woman doing a spot-on imitation of Cashew The Frenchie which if you haven't seen, you need to in order to get the humor. :))
