Ruca's episode on Thursday morning, we are unsure of what is happening with our almost 2 year old female french bulldog.
Disgusting monster

What a disgusting monster
Poor thing, its so nice that she talks to him so calmly and gentle..you cant really do much for a seizure
Stop breeding and buying these mutts. They are uselessly unhealthy
Thank god it was a frenchy not a real dog these ugly ass things are useless to the core.. can’t breathe can’t have sex can’t swim.. it is an obnoxious, spoiled, snorting gremlin
Momma and baby.
Few things better than watching one of these man made abominations suffer in pain.
It's not a seizure! It's called canine reversed sneezing and absolutely common and kinda normal to all dog races! There is a very quick and easy solution and it just takes you about 5 seconds to stop this completely. Just close the mouth and block one nostril with your finger at the same time. Maybe rub the throat a little too. The dog will immediately stop breathing weird and go back to normal. Inform yourself about canine reversed sneezing. It's all over RUclips. And to the people in the comments telling you to put the dog down: Just shut the fuck up you uneducated twats! Stop spreading false and dangerous information and stop telling people to let their animals go just because you're such a dumb fuck! Idiocary at its best!
Let go of the dog…. Causing more stress
Frenchie are rubbish
Hope you guys took her in, stop being helpless go in to the vet already!
That things seems to die
Ours has seizures started at 10 years old. On phenobarbital had to adjust dose to get them to stop. Heartbreaking I know trust me
Is it died?
😞
Ah, that mother fucker isn’t going to last another year.
It only gets worse. Longer it’s alive, the more pain it endures, but hey! It’s worth it because it’s a “cute” dog.
Check out a vid by The mysterious miss X. Now I know what you're thinking ...... no...... it's a woman doing a spot-on imitation of Cashew The Frenchie which if you haven't seen, you need to in order to get the humor. :))
You’re a real piece of shit for positing like that, when she posted about her dog having a seizure. Karma is a bitch
Hi, my dog is going through something similar now and has seen 3 vets who have suggested epilepsy but I’m not sure, and she acts very similar to this x
poor dog needs a vet asap
She can't breathe.
Hi hope ur dog is now okay just wanted to ask when your dog was going through the pain with the slip disc how long did the episodes last for My dog has recently started doing the same thing we are waiting for a neurologist appointment but his episodes last for quite a long time so I’m starting to think it could be a problem with his back and not seizures
My frenchie had this happen.did u get him or her diagnosed ?
So sad how is he/she now?
It's a breathing problem! He cannot get air into his lungs. His airways are to narrow, maybe swollen (to much heat or over exercion)
Update on your dog? Been browsing RUclips for any videos of frenchie seizure/epilepsy. My frenchie also has similar episodes, Im from Mindanao, Philippines, and we don't have animal neurologist, went to a vet clinic, but no clear diagnosis😭
Do yuo have videos of seizures?
I think on one vid u called someone a bitch thats not nice. It was on the video inanimate battle from animationepic if you're the one that called someone a bitch that's not nice and no one's going to help your dog if you're the person that called someone the B word
Hi one question, how often did this happen? My dog is doing this too but its only happening at nights while he is sleeping
Usually when she woke up after sleeping. We found out she was not having a seizure but had ruptured/slip a disc in her back and it was causing her severe pain. We went ahead with the surgery suggested by our vet here locally in sonoma county. She had a good 6 month recovery but is doing amazing now and no more pain or symptoms.
Was this the same with your dog? Ours does it every once in a while, like a few times a week, then all good for a month then again. Otherwise very active brawling with her brother every day without signs of pain. We can't find a trigger and vet can't find what is wrong.
@@apustovoy Hey Andrey did you ever find out what's wrong . Thanks hope all went well.
Did you find out what was going on?? My almost 3 year old is doing this all of a sudden and the vets are stumped.
Yes we did. If it is happening random and looks like the video than its probably the same thing. We've already helped another family with the same problem with there frenchie. Ours had a ruptured disc in her upper back lower neck. We think she got this by playing to rough and taking a header. The vets did a MRI and saw the fluid and ruptured disc in her back. At first everybody thought it was seizures but it was her having spasms or flare ups and in a lot of pain not having a seizure. You will probably have to do a MRI for your vet to diagnose this. Let me know if we can be of any more help.
What was the treatment that you ended up having to do, surgery?
Yes, we had to do surgery. The Vet was awesome and did a great job with our pooch. Surgery was our best option for a ruptured disc she had
My 18 month old Frenchie is doing this, I recorded it and showed my vet who showed a neurologist and they’ve gone and prescribed me seizure meds (which I haven’t gave yet). We now have a appt with a neurologist next week. But this is exactly what she’s doing, bludging eyes, sped up heart rate, seems like a panic attack. Not sure how I’m gonna bring this up to my vet going again them.
@@MitchT00 What did your vet end up saying when you brought up this video? I'm in the same boat.

Noah Srss Thank you so much for your reply. I'm happy to hear that things went well! Can you just tell me was your doggy able to walk and run and jump? Mine is having very very similar symptoms, but he has moments when he jumps and runs... All the vets are confused... they don't think its coming from his spine...
She was doing the same thing. She would be fine and play all day than an episode would occur. She would jump and run around and stuff but than randomly she would go into the episode. The doctors here did a mri and found a rupture disc that at time would get inflamed and really hurt her. Almost like having a spasm of pain than she starts to feel better after the episode. Have you video taped the incident? If so, and you could show me i might be able to help. Unfortunately the only thing that will help is pain meds and prednisone which arent good for your dog long term but do help for sure and could help fix the issue. That and tell you and your vet decide if surgery is needed
I have no words to thank you enough. Thanks to this video I started beleiving he has the same problem with spine and we found vets who said its coming from the spine and we are waiting now for neurological exam. Kiss your doggy and hug her for us. Thanks once again.
Noah Srss how is your puppy doing?
How did everything turn out with your frenchie? I would love to hear, thanks
This is truly painful to watch... Did you ever find out what is causing this? How is the doggy now? My Frenchie suffers from the similar condition so Im trying to get all the info possible...

ITS the breed only. The nose got smaller and smaller so they can't sweat and make emergency cooling by laying on the floor with them belly. The eyes can pop off only by pulling the neck a little bit. They can't breath with this little space in moth and nose. And they have many hearth problems. This breed suffers the whole life. Make your RESEARCH Next time please don't buy a dog because it looks cute.
@@givinglzzz5482 that has nothing to do with the spine and disk issues that dogs and french bulldogs often suffer from. This isn't a french bulldog only condition, and if youre talking about the issues frenchies sometimes have because of stenotic nares or tracea issues, that isn't this breed only either. Please stop spreading misinformation.
@@givinglzzz5482what a nasty comment to leave on someone’s pet.
sorry
Omg. This just broke my heart. Is she ok now? Did you ever get a diagnosis? My frenchie suffered a seizure attack after heat exposure and I quickly cooled him down by putting him in the tub with cool water.
