    Thank you for this professional video. My mini 1.4 one r56. cranks but does not start. Similar issue. No fault code. Mainly dors not stars but rarely starts then stops. Any idea?

      Hi if it starts sometimes and dies, you might need to check the fuel pressure to see it’s good. And spark plugs and coil packs.

    Thanks for share us this video I’m working on the same car but my question is….
    When you took the pump out of the car did you just conected it to the jumper or did you replaced the coil and then tested it?

    • @DaringBeefcake
      @DaringBeefcake  2 года назад +1

      I did not replace anything just jumped it and it started working. I had another pump on another car which also started working after jumping it but needed a bit of tapping on the side. Be careful with fuel even with what ever is left on the pump very flammable.

      once again thanks for the video i figured out what was wrong with my fuel pump the gray tube that goes inside the pump was out of its place thats why the pump had no pressure so i just pushed it a bit more into the pump and just tie it with a cable tie to make sure it doesn’t happened again put the pump back plug everything and car start right up again 🍻CHEERS my friend

      @AntonioLopez-hk4cs 2 года назад +1

      The reason that it was out of the pump it’s because one of the clips that should keep it inside was broken but the pump was working fine

      @@AntonioLopez-hk4cs great news, ,make sure the cable tie doesn't degrade with fuel, you may need a fuel resistant one unless yo already thought of that of course hehehe

      @DaringBeefcake  2 года назад

      No it didn’t have any fault codes. Pump just failed and even after trying to start it there was no faults generated.

    I have the same problem with my r53 an i see the gas pomp get over heat because low fuel pressure , so I never run the r53 with low fuel pressure

    This is a great video, but I can't see hardly anything because of the text on the screen

    • @DaringBeefcake
      @DaringBeefcake  2 года назад +1

      Sorry about that I see the text went on a bit longer than I planned. How ever am only disconnecting a hose in there which you press a clip and pull the hose apart. The wiring also clip and unplug. Anyway hope the vid helps some how in the end.

    what happens if I didnt disconect battery?

    • @DaringBeefcake
      @DaringBeefcake  4 месяца назад

      Well it’s more of a safety reason, technically nothing will happen. But if you are playing with fuel I would rather not to have anything that could cause a spark and ignite fuel, it’s your life and your car you take the risk at the end of the day or just disconnect the battery heheh.

      Two parts to these tanks and it siphoning fuel from one side to other so pump can pick up fuel
