    Fendt Weighing in at 52,500lbs

    Again, this is not a tractor to tractor comparison, this is just having some fun. 🤷‍♂️😜

And then maybe the Case and Deere quads against each other. And then maybe three 4840 John Deeres against the Fendt. The fendt may have triples on the rear and doubles on the front, but you have to acknowledge that the tread on the tires looks way more aggressive than the track tread on the JD. Also, if I’m correct, the tracks are meant for better float and not necessarily digging into the ground for more traction. Still fun to watch no doubt.

    • @noahpedersen5714
      @noahpedersen5714 3 года назад +4

      Tracks have WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more traction, look at the contact to ground with tires and with tracks, the tracks have a lot more

    • @massiveretard176
      @massiveretard176 3 года назад +21

      @@noahpedersen5714 no he’s correct, these tracks are actually designed for more float, less compaction but as a trade off once they get mud in them they are extremely slippery (as you can see in the vid as once they start slipping they completely let go). On the other hand the tyres have much more tread and tend to dig into the ground more and (so long as they don’t go slick) start gaining even more traction. And the fact that the fendt had triples probably means it has a comparable footprint as well.
      I could be entirely wrong but from my armchair farmer understanding that’s how they work.

And hp plays into it as well, because I didn't have enough power on teh Fendt to continue to spin all 4 consistently. I was very happy with how it held its own against the Deere. It was pretty much a draw, keeping in mind the Deere has 60 more hp and out weighs the Fendt. John Deere claims that there 2 track will out pull their 4 tracks. But we ll see ;) I am going to do a few things to the Fendt as well to make it a little more comfortable in HP and weight and then try it again and see if it's still a draw. Stay tuned and subscribe to see the madness! Haha

      Mike Mitchell of course i will, i like watching such extreme conditions with huge mass/traction/power, i was wondering about clutch,if it was able to transfer so much power to gearbox and also about whole gearbox, because for me it seemed impossible to have such traction that 500 horse power wasnt enough.

    • @Janeczkov
      @Janeczkov 6 лет назад

      Mike Mitchell yes, it dig some holes because when it started pulling, engine had some momentum to still be able to spin axles, also.john deere hadnt it wheels spinning at max speed so fendt had some time to dig holes, and then lack of power came out. I also wonder, if you hadnt enough power to spin tyres, why your engine didnt stop and not gave up to john deere

    fendt is in company. I mean Fendt, Challenger, Massey Ferguson are same company. John Deere is on its self. John Deere testing their tractors and engines for over a years. but I believe that strong is really important to pullers/tractors but it needs a high technology too. I know that fendt is a powerfull tractor. but I didn't see the main features of Fendt tractors like 1000,1043,1050. I saw the joystick. and when it's john deere, john deere got it all. When Fendt was not realeas by AgCo the most less fuel consumption is John Deere 8400r,8390r, and other john deere tractors but fendtb 900 series was in the list of top 10 most less fuel consumption. For me, the important with that is you can drive, you can service your crops, and make money. I challenge so many tractors in our country. but if you want the strongest tractor Buy Case Ih Magnum 390 CVX, Case Ih Optum 300 CVX, and quadtracs. you know Case Ih tractors also using Scania engine and Evico engine. For me and for the fun of John Deere 9.0 liter cylinder engine, 8.0liter cylinder engine, 7.0liter cylinder engine, and 6.0 liter cylinder engine is the best for me. because it is economical engine. and john deere tractors are a direct drive. When you know when people voting if what tractor they want, they always shouting they favourites. but they don't know if what's inside on it. it's your choice Mike Mitchel, If you buy Fendt. it's okey because Challenger and Fendt And Massey Ferguson are Ariculture-Company. oh you know the 1111 or 1150? I don't know that because I didn't study those tractors. hehe.
