I absolutely love this bass line. It is so incredibly fluid, really drives the song along, just the way the bass is supposed to do. By the late 80s, most bass players were doing little more than playing root notes. This feels much more jazzy, like greats of the 60s&70s, e.g. Jack Bruce, Billy Cox, John Paul Jones and John Entwhistle. I wouldn't necessarily hold Duff to that standard, but i also think he's under-ated.

There are so many classic songs where playing the bass is a thankless job, but damn if people really listened, more often than not the bass is holding the whole thing together, and sometimes creating that melody the average joe thinks the guitar or drums are making. Dude, could get a copy of this tab? It's the perfect bass line. But as an amateur as myself, I'm having some difficulties following even at half speed. The tab doesn't fully sync up with the notes played, and you've have started the next bar before it shows, throwing the timing off by just a tad.

I assume the poster of this vid is long gone, so can anyone reading tell me are these tabs accurate? I play mainly guitar but dabbling in bass this week - these tabs are different to all others in other vids - but actually these seem better - this guy probably really knows what he is doing and has the more likely correct TAB than the other vids ive seen?
