Hiiii!
I’m Ann Mary-a former corporate banker turned homemaker, embracing the wild and fun adventure of raising four young ladies under 7 (yes, it’s as lively as it sounds!) I left the corporate hustle for my true calling: building a Christ-centered home, homeschooling our daughters, and discovering the incredible beauty of Biblical Womanhood.
I’m documenting my journey here to glorify Jesus-becoming the wife He designed me to be; raising Godly, respectful, and grateful young ladies; and leveling up our minimalist lifestyle (because who needs clutter when life’s already this full!)
Stick around-I promise, it’s going to be empowering, uplifting, and maybe even a little fun. Together, we are making homes that glorify Jesus and strengthen His Kingdom!
Love,
Ann Mary ❤️

Thanks for sharing your story and experience! I've been tempted many times in the past 8 years to get a little part-time job... but working for someone else just ends up feeling too costly. I might need some alone time or social time or time to pursue my own hobbies, interests, projects or even business ideas. But I just can't work for someone else. My husband's schedule is the only one I want to work around lol not some corporation that schedules me. God has always provided for us. In the beginning it felt like just our needs but now it feels like He provides our wants as well and we are almost out of debt, which we had a ton of. I always desire to live below our means for the sake of my soul. I love nice things but I like to be content whether I have or whether I lack. Stuff is not important, but family is
YEEES! I so relate to that - I seriously am not made to work for anybody else 😂 And I love reading that God has provided more than enough for your family ❤
New subscriber here, I love your videos! 😊 I’m a stay at home mother of 2 girls. A 22 month old and a 9 week old. We live on one income. When we moved in our apartment back in August, the only furniture we had was our bed, and the Lord told my husband He was going to fill this place. And days later a family member called me from the furniture store and said they were buying us a couch set and dining set, and giving us a coffee table. And He’s been continuing to fill our place with the things we need! So it’s definitely possible to live on one income. God will provide! 🙌🏽🙏🏽😇
WOW! Can I just say how impactful your testimony is? That is AMAZING! I love hearing stories like this. It encourages me so much and it keeps on giving Jesus all the glory! Congratulations on your newest addition and thank you for making the time to share ❤
Love the direct fast pace talking!
This tends to happen when I get really excited about what I'm talking about haha ❤
We are a family of 7 and in the same spot! Homeschool, one income, no debt, the Lord provides 💗
LOVE THIS! God always provides ❤
Amen, praise God. I am also homeschooling my girls my husband is a breadwinner. No credit cards, and God is faithful...
I totally agree ❤❤❤ God has changed my heart.
YES! And it's the best thing ever ❤
I am a new mum of a 12-month-old. This topic is something that convicts me. I run my own business that physically has me out of the home for part-time hours but it takes up at lot more mental hours. Taking me away from my family and adding a ton of stress as there's pressure to ensure I have enough work to pay the bills and mortgage. Praise the Lord, God has blessed us with a successful business and we are never without. And the reason I work is not because I want to be a career woman, it's simply for providing purposes. I also am a full-time homemaker as my husband is unable to help with most of the household chores as he's out of the house minimum 60 hours of the week. We are trying to figure out how we can get me to be a full-time SAH mum and are working towards that. I so desperately want to be a stay-at-home mum. We have a wonderful set up with my mother living with us and she will look after my daughter while I am out working. But, I want to follow God's design. Prayers are welcome
Thank you for sharing your heart so openly, Rebecca. It sounds like you are doing amazing at loving and caring for your family, and that is honourable and praiseworthy. I love that your heart is in the right place, seeking to honour God and follow His design for your family. It is so encouraging to hear that both you and your husband are working towards making it possible for you to be completely present for your family. That is such a beautiful goal, and I truly believe God sees your desires and will guide you step by step. He is faithful, and He will make a way. I just prayed for you-for peace, clarity, and strength ❤
What part of Canada are you in! Northern Ontario here 😊
I stay home and homeschool my younger son. I teach piano 4 to 7 and that provides enough income to let me do that. You are so positive it radiates off of you ❤
Thank you so much for your kind words ❤ We are currently in Quebec!
This is so great!! We are a family of 6 living on one income too ❤
YEEEES!!! That is AMAZING!
Can you share more about your sugar experience ?
Absolutely - It's on my list of next videos! In a nutshell, I have IBS symptoms and on the quest on getting to the roots of the issue, we did a Whole30 reset (which is 30 days of eating only meat, fruits and veggies, and nuts - no legumes, no gluten, no grains, no dairy, no processed sugar) After the reset, we reintroduced each item to see what triggers us. When we reintroduced sugar, I felt massive migraines, brain fogs, and just crazy mood swings. It can be so challenging to give up sugar because, in Canada, it's seriously in everything but it is SO WORTH IT! We now only have pure maple syrup and raw honey in our home (and the chocolate chips and coconut that I mentioned - although you can also find those unsweetened) We ditched everything sugar-related (even our fish sauce is sugar-free!!!) I seriously feel so much better, more energized, more healthy (no more headaches!), and just BETTER! We kept similar ways of eating, after the reset, with lots of meat, raw cheese, fruits and raw honey. I hope this helps!
When you say no debt, you mean no mortgage?
We do not have a mortgage
@messy2mastery I’ve enjoyed watching your content and learning from a different perspective. Unfortunately there’s no way I could ever live with one income and no mortgage considering the amount of money it cost us to own a home and the income we have. It’s just not a reality for us no matter how much we save and we only buy essentials and live frugally. God provides for sure but he won’t give us thousands and thousands to be mortgage free because it’s just not realistic in our situation. Still, I’m very thankful for your content and I’m happy for you and your family and what you have achieved.
@@princessaome Thank you for your kind words! I can see why one-income living can feel out of reach for many families. For us, living this way has been a journey of faith and prioritizing certain choices, even when it required sacrifices. I hope this (and the many comments from other families also making it work!) encourages you. Ultimately, we are all doing the best we can with what we have, working towards God's vision for each and every single one of us ❤ Thank you again for being here!
