Your videos are so helpful. Another Sport Glide owner here from the States. I finished up a Stage-1 upgrade today on my 2021 FLSB and all went well, except no neutral light. A quick search on the web brought me to this video and, based on the video, I checked those wires. Sure enough, I accidentally unplugged one of the connections when installing the new header pipes (O2 sensor connection, most likely). Just wanted to thank you for all the info you put out there. Much appreciated.

Thanks so much for the video! My '08 Softail had this problem near the end of the summer. Couldn't find any videos or forums with detailed description of locating the neutral safety switch. After watching your video I went out, checked the wires for contact, and sure enough the neutral light is back on and it fired right up.

Thanks for the video! I think my neutral switch might be broken too, as I get neutral while riding. Sometimes the gear pops up and the next second it’s gone again. Any recommendation about how to unscrew the switch? Any parts that need to be removed?

I’m assuming you have a Softail then it should unscrew on the top itself I believe

As always, good info. I don't have a Green light Neutral indicator. My 2020 Heritage Classic has a Red "N" indicator that illuminates on the instrument module that sits below the speedometer. This module only displays the Left turning signal...….Neutral…….Right turning signals.

RA, sounds like your bike is cooling off. I was told not to wash my bike when hot because the water can get seep into engine and related parts. So, I dutifully wait until its cooled down to soap the thing up and give it a good scrub. Probably another "old wives tale" but now its become a habit. I'm going to try your chrome cleaning method since I have those little black spots that won't come off. TX.

Cheers Gene. The way I look at it is that I ride in the rain so where’s the difference. Cheers
