As a kid watching WCCW, I aaw Lance as a decent performer and he had the athleticism. I wonder if there was some jealosy seeing that a non Von Erick was gaining recognition from the fans or even from Fritz. I agree with a comment that someone made here about Kevin, he had the size and atheticism but always seemed too focused on his attack and almost didn't sell to help the opponent. With the younger brothers Mike and Chris not really having the wrestler pedigree, that put more pressure on Kevin and Kerry to sell the show and I can see how the situation eventually unfolded with Lance.
When you look at some of the experiences that brought each of them to wrestling, you have to wonder if they could have done something else. Kevin, the ultra athlete was a College football player until he was injured. Kerry was an Olympic pick for track and field, then we like other countries boycotted the olympics. Mike played intruments, he loved music and film. Seems to me that David (maybe) and Chris were the brothers who initially focused on wrestling. If the events related to thiss are true in the movie. Then it was Fritz's insistance that each would step in when needed and all of them would wrestle and be the best at it. Course, I could be wrong. 🤷🏾
In real life, Waldo von Erich (RIP) only had *daughters* . I'm curious, though: Does anybody here wit whether any of his *grandsons* followed in his footsteps and became wrestlers?
Kevin is the faster focus, David the stronger, Kerry was a ittle mess, Mike was not that bad is sad he was forced to do that and suffer so much (i think the most neglected) Chris for sure since little boy wants be a wrestler

Yes. When it was revealed he wasn’t Waldo’s real son he had to change his name and leave the country.
He’s wrong about Chris not wanting to be a wrestler, it’s been confirmed by Kevin that Chris did wanted to be a wrestler
Chris von erich always wanted to be a wrestler.

Everyone knew Fritz pushed Mike into wrestling, but it's new info to learn that Chris was also pushed into it.
