Actually the rating star is not for all Malaysian..hahaha..i do love having conversation with grab drivers because that's when i can learn about other people struggle & hardship or just learn about general life of people..and learn to be humble & grateful for what i have right now

@@andeezaima319 well those kind of drivers sometimes need a place to vent their opinion/anger..i would just agree to it because i too sometimes need someone to listen to my nonsense..so for me, i'm okay with it..you just need to respect other people different opinion..i would not dare to rate the driver based on just those situation unless the driver was physically/verbally harassing me..
Malaysians are usually friendly, so when we take grab, we would think whether we should speak or not. And if we speak the conversation would always start with “how long have you been doing this (grab)?”😂 anyway, I see Juro there! Been her fan since she was pranked 😅😂 Do come to Malaysia Juro~~

Those hand gestures are real, I always use them but I never really thought about it. It's used when the waiter is far away from you, its not good to shout so just communicate the basics with hands.

I didn't know that Malaysia and Korean taste in food quite similar. Both like spicy food and both can enjoy white rice with egg soy sauce.
About the 'grabcar meme' I think it refers to Malaysian being too friendly but sometimes wanna try not to engage into conversations so they resist talking.However,base on my personal experience, resisting will never work😂😂

About the Grab rating, we are too polite to stay quiet in the car while someone is kind enough to drive us, but we do want our peace and quiet in the car if that is possible.
But I've never rated my Grab drivers less than 5 because they were so nice to me in their own ways. #kalaukaubaiksangat

I think there's a confusion on the translation for soy egg rice, if I'm not mistaken
Soy egg rice = Nasi telur kicap
Nasi bujang = Nasi + telur dadar + sup/kuah tomyum

It doesn't matter if it's with/out the 'sup kosong' because we don't prepare it at home...only asking it for free at 'kedai makan'
for more specific, nasi bujang with soup is siam restaurant style. the real malaysian nasi bujang is rice with egg and soy

For the grab meme one, I think usually most Malaysian will atleast greet other people with few words. A cultural thing I guess? It's like to show politeness, humble towards each other and to show that we are not arrogant.

The hand gesture in mamak restaurant, I guess because most waiters are either foreigner from India or not well converse in Malay language. I used to get wrong orders, but the hand gesture made the order simpler and they will understand better.

Actually we do also using hand is we saw any friend or acquaintance while we drive car or motorcycle or we just using hon and shout louder. The eyebrow usually using when walk meet each other but you busy (like you talking at phone)( you talk than you coworker came so just greet like that). Different situation different greet.
Also for the road most of this type of road at big city or near big city , but for another area not like this so it fine, most complex area usually kuala lumpur, shah alam and putrajaya also complex but not as bad as kuala lumpur.

I think the meme where a door knob is on the car door, means as Malaysian, doesnt matter where we are, we always open door by pulling, eventhought the signs say push. Thats the thing, either we always confuse or some of use really doesnt understand english. 😂 Even if there is words, 'Tolak' (push) on the door, we still 'tarik'. (Pull) 😂 Thats what that meme means. We can only pull car doors but cannot push to open.
