‘if we don’t treat the internet with the RESPECT…!!’ 😂 still funny after all these years
"No personal internet" so onlyfans thots starve, and dating goes back to normal where 4s and 5s aren't trying to catfish 1000 men at once and have standards like "he must be under 30, a billionaire, and 6 foot 6, and never cheat."
Fucking amazing. lol. 💀
all while cosplaying a navajo museum exhibit.
I lost it 😂😂😂😂😂
@@hgriff14 What is that? I was wondering about the jacket
This is a great one. It’s based on John Steinbeck’s novel Grapes of Wrath about farming communities fleeing where they lived during droughts in the Great Depression. They just substituted “water” for “internet.”
Moreso the movie than the book, but yes.
@@christopherb501fair point but that’s a common thread with adaptations.
thats always the funniest part of this to me 😂
Great novel.
@@user-ry5vq8wy6z and great film too
this episode has a legendary moment that even the creators said they were shocked the network allowed them to air it
I love when even they’re surprised. It happened with the movie, too. They were gonna call it All Hell Breaks Loose and the censors clasped their pearls. So they said, “Ok, Bigger, Longer, and Uncut.” And I guess no one got it, so it was allowed. 😂
But my favorite is when they’re doing commentary on the sex ed episode and say they can’t believe the red rocket scene was allowed. And one of them actually says something like, “Ugh, that’s horrible.” 😂😂😂 They grossed out their future selves with that one.
@@83gemm Yeah apparently they didnt get it until it was too late haha
@@83gemm they did it again with Fractured but Whole as well
"It wasn't me it was a spooky ghost" 😂😂😂 This is the BEST episode lmao
Randy's speech/outburst/outfit at the end is a reference to the Steven Seagal movie "On Deadly Ground" which is a hilarious trainwreck.
As is Seagal himself. Although there’s an entire corner of the internet devoted to shitting on and laughing at Seagal, this is a hilarious reference most people don’t catch.
@@pablozee6359 I love how SP portrays him in the Safe Space episode
Funniest shit here. The acting in this episode is better than the movie it’s parodying.
" It sounds like someone's beimg mauled by a tiger!"😂😂
A sexy tiger 😉
Did you see the ghost? 😂
the the ectoplasm 😂
Fun fact, Trey Parker didn't think that scene would get past the censors. He was stunned when he saw the episode premiere and they left it in 😂
It was so spooky!
@@theimperium4790I love that piece of SP trivia. Trey and Matt are national treasures.
Such an overrated scene. Painful to go through and a bit funny because of disgusting ridiculousness.
I love watching your reactions because most people have a straight face but you guys don’t hold back 😂😭
Same reason I watch them they are my second favorite South Park reaction
If you want another one that does great commentary and laughs a lot try disfunktional tv
Better then shouting and crying
Toli Reacts definitely doesn't hold back either.
Gotta watch the smug episode.
Some people really be actin like Randy fr 😂
@@goldenvalor4736omg I watch him toooo
He not lying about webmd. If you sneeze twice that site will definitely tell you you’re dying 🤣😭
Tried to load a webpage… Took three days. Starved on the internet.
Devin givin Catatfish vibes here trying to convince he's not into cough syrup!
RESPECT! *Slams table*
THIS!! It’s my favourite part of this episode 😂😂
"He was dancing to that." "The music was fire." 😂😂😂
80s corn music is always fire, smooth jazz
@@DuBstep115 😆 💯
The aliens in the movie were both tall and short, like children. The aliens returned people who had been missing for decades, and there were another group that were willing to go with them. The idea was to learn from them, and they were to return later, though they never said how long. They used the musical notes to communicate because, like numbers, it is the most universal language.
Going to Californee way for that internet might even click on a pop up ad for the fun of it
He said you got a cough you might have colon cancer🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Catch it early. Stay vigilant. 😂
WebMD really is like that 😂
I mean when they search and process you, they tell you to squat and cough. Makes sense.
The end scene with Randy giving an impassioned speech while wearing a Native American-esque leather coat and feather earrings is a reference to the end speech made in Steven Seagal's 1994 movie On Deadly Ground.
There was a Ghost! This is ECTOPLASM! 💦💦💦
It was a spooky ghost
“Go save him,” made me spit out my drink. 😂
The timing is crazy. 2 nights ago the world experienced the largest global internet outage in world history
Devon is a great viewing mate. Doesnt spoil it, plays along with Hobbs theories, and the subtle tells are perfect.
South Park are KINGS of using a reference mixed with something else. For those that dont know this episode is a giant reference to The Grapes of Wrath, a 1939 John Steinbeck book that was made into a movie in 1940. Its about a family of farmers during the Great Depression that lived through the Dust Bowl. The black and white scenes are basically scenes pulled directly from the movie. Its kind of like Epic Rap Battles of History, which Id also like to see you guys react to, where it can stand on its own but its 10x better if you get the references.
“There was a ghost!” Is one of the funniest things in the show to me
"why, I hear they got a whole mess of internet down californey way" and treating the internet with the *RESPECT* crack me up everytime
this episode is a parody of Grapes of Wrath, with Randy's speech at the end being a parody specifically of the ending from the terrible movie "on deadly ground" by terrible actor steven seagal
Beat me to it.
Friend of mine smashed his phone and took about a week to get it fixed, that lad was so different when he got his phone back, happier, less depressive was insane. Makes you think.
“Go broncos” next to someone wearing a ravens jersey is crazy😂😂
The Crowd Strike update crash is still going on. My wife’s bank is only 70% back.
So glad you were able to get to this episode 🙌🏾
I even learned about some references that it wasn't aware of before.
Can't wait until you watch Cartmanland 🤣
2:47 Not even three minutes in and you called it, gg. Ok, now gotta finish, ahem, the episode. Also, your welcome. XD
Man when I was like 21, I took shrooms and had a bad time, the next day i was a full blown hypochondriac and all i fucking did was google what i thought was wrong with me. I went to the hospital 5 times in 3 days and the doctor literally told me I have to stop coming there for nothing. I live in a small town in canada so it didnt cost me anything so i kept going thinking something was wrong with me. You are FR when you say dont google that shit, it was a wild 6 months and my anxiety eventually stopped. You bringing that up took me down memory lane man lmao
As someone who lived without internet (it was called the 1980s) I do actually think it would be impossible to not have it now only because so much technology is internet based now. Imagine if you had no internet you'd have no access to your money. The only money you truly had would be in your wallet. We would have to revert to 80s tech to actually live without it.
And medical equipment, record databases, navigation systems...
The internet is down and your first reaction is "I'm cooked" 😂
"Going Native" is a Butters Episode about Hawaii.
Yes.
It is stupid and makes no sense.
It also sheds some light on how Butters interprets the people around him at school.
It also explores his social relationship with Kenny.
This specific Episode is also one of the reasons why their Characters are "Shipped" by Fans in-spite of the fact that their Characters are heterosexuals.
I'm a programmer…if the internet goes down…I'll be cooked
Steven Spielberg never wanted to make a cliche evil alien invasion movie, so expectations of that were subverted.
Close Encounters of the third kind was different take on the genre and it's a good one. It is one of those legendary movie in cinema history.
Watch it to get the story well.
Bro this episode being the upload like ONE DAY after Crowdstrike took out half the internet is absolutely fucking hilarious, what are the odds
Finally someone else who agrees with me that close encounters was a major disappointment
I listen to yall on my daily walks, makes the time fly. It's like getting to watch my favorite episodes for the first time again.
If this ever goes down, I'm turning on local TV and radio.
Sam and Jake stood under the warm spray of the shower, steam swirling around them. Their laughter echoed off the tiles as they washed away the grime of the day.
“You know,” Sam said, lathering shampoo into his hair, “I was reading this article about the history of hand jobs. It’s fascinating.”
Jake chuckled, rinsing soap off his arms. “Only you would find that interesting. What did it say?”
“Well,” Sam began, “it turns out that hand jobs were a common part of male bonding rituals in some cultures. It was more about camaraderie than sex.”
Jake raised an eyebrow. “Really? That’s pretty wild. Imagine explaining that at a family dinner.”
They both laughed, the sound blending with the noise of the water.
“Hey, knowledge is power,” Sam grinned, rinsing his hair.
Jake nodded, smiling. “Just another quirky piece of trivia for the books. Only you, Sam.”
you got 40 seconds. so you are going to email somebody that cant even read the email? da fuck?! lmao
From what I can see, Randy is a fellow left hander
SO perfect that you put this out right after various states are declaring a state of emergency due to the whole Microsoft situation. 😂
Given the mass global IT issue the past few days....this episode is pretty perfect. haha
I just KNEW that you'd cover "Over Logging" !!! I've been WAITING FOR THIS!!!!! 🤣
My last place was in Hollywood here in LA and all the Internet going down blocks and blocks down to West Hollywood was all out on a Sunday evening out of nowhere until a Monday afternoon in like 2022 and I thought of this episode because there was no recourse, nothing you can do, and I know hella people were rightfully freaking out and losing it since a lot of folks work from home - especially on a Monday. It didn't come back until like 5pm on that Monday. We really can't do much without it but at the same time, ISPs are garbage for basically having whole cartel monopolies on markets, divvying them among each other, and providing minimal service and speeds compared to other countries. We're at the mercy of a lot of nonsense, for real.
Also thank you both like always for a golden reaction and no doubt making a ton of us laugh lol. You both have the best chemistry ever and the formula of Devin knowing and loving South Park forever while Hobbs watches these eps for the first time is too good.
Close Encounters of the Third Kind is a cinematic masterpiece.....
Randy's speech at the end is a parody of Steven Segal in "On deadly ground." He wearing the same fit and speaking the same way.
Awesome Work Brothers!!! 👍👍😎 Greetings from Helsinki, Finland🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸
Title is wild lol
Nah Devin knows what's up with that grilled chicken sandwich at chik fil a 🔥
That's what over the air antennas are for.
With the *RESPECT!*...that is deserves.
😂
Randy is wearing the same outfit Steven Seagal wore in "On Deadly Ground". He gives a speech at the end about respecting the environment.
Can't believe you're watching this exact episode when the crowdstrike incident happened 😂😂😂
"Catch it early" almost made me spit out my drink! 😂😂
See…this is why I love you guys…I’ve been watching Close Encounters for 45 years…hell…I saw it in the theater in ‘77…(I was only 6 years old)…but I never thought about it the way Devin (don’t know how to spell your name bro) described it…you’re right…that dude just left his whole family behind…like…”see ya”…kinda crazy the things that we miss. I’m 53 now…but I …never thought about it this way…you guys keep doing what you’re doing…and I’ll keep watching.😂
“But if we don’t treat the internet with the *RESPECT”* 💀
He's right, we didn't always have internet and survived before, but systems and interactions have updated where internet really is a need anymore
Perfect episode for today lol this episode came out around the time the internet and power went out for real i think
"You mean the 'shit's gping down sirens?"
Dont mind me...from N. TX....I'm calling them this now.
Whenever I see Devin sportin the Ravens gear I know it's gonna be a banger lol
12:40 This is a reference to the movie the Grapes of Wrath, which itself is a depiction of the migration to California that took place during the Great Depression. In that case looking for work though.
"What is he doing?"
Come on, Hobbs..... YOU KNOW DAMN RIGHT WHAT HE'S DOING!
Did Hobbs actually just ask why Randy did something? That's crazy. 🤣
I would defeat all the Ghost trying to keep me from the internet harassing me with ectoplasm, that's what I would do.
It's a nod to the Grapes of Wrath, a book and movie about the great depression.
What perfect timing with everything crashing the other day lol
It was NOT windows but crowdstrike that went down, business use it for online security.
The 2 girls at 27:08 G1- Hello Kitty is cute isnt she 🤮 G2- yeah so cute, right? G1- me too! 🤮 G2- I love you. lol
40 seconds...immediately researching top 10 places nearby with internet and less crowds
I lived through a time before internet, bikes and skateboards haphazardly scattered around the front lawn meant we're all out back in the forest playing Manhunt with a paintball gun... curfew was come home at somepoint preferably alive and in one piece, Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, Sony Playstation 1&2, NINTENDO 64, getting bullied and earning respect through retribution, just having fist fights for fun, drinking a "skatepark mix" which was everything from your parent's liquor cabinet miixed together meet up with your buddies at the skatepark get hammered and go skaten... LOL
I don’t think you’ve reacted to them yet. But both the episode “All About Mormons” S7 Ep12 and the episode “Trapped in the closet” S9 Ep12 are absolute Gems. Two underrated episodes
Great pick after the Crowdstrike ooopsy daisey lol. Randy is a Legend
This is the most perfectly-timed reaction. 😂
I loved the recap of the movie from Devan afterwards 😂 Maybe you two could do a segment about the most unhinged or disappointing movies you saw
That opening scene with the guy swinging his laptop yelling "What's going on?!?!" is exactly how i feel when the internet goes out.
My wife and I just watched this episode last night! Respect!!
Randy is over loading ectoplasm 🤣🤣
Hobbs is funny af this ep. love yall
Talk about timing regarding the BSOD on Friday regarding Crowdstrike
I’m in Houston that hurricane had the power out for 8 days. I referenced this episode in the group chat when my power came back on. Y’all dropped like 3 South Park videos while my power was out.
Y’all should watch that Shelly episode where she babysits Cartman. It’s a classic early season episode.
Oh yea the one with the cat sex orgy
If you thought Close Encounters was unfulfilling check out Contact with Jodi Foster. I paid a dollar to see it in the theater and wanted a refund.
Our country war alarms go of first monday like every month. Can't even exit or stay in a building to avoid it😅
Thank you, I've been asking for this for months :) One of my favourite episodes!
Often times law enforcement/ medical facilities and stuff like that have their own private net that’s not connected to the internet, so they can still function if stuff like that happens irl.
That cough syrup goes down smooth mixed with some Sprite. You know, just proactively keeping the cold away.
Cob salad from chic fil é is absolute HEAT
watch out for the 👻
Jesus what timing, currently watching on my phone at a friend's house because we lost internet at home. Tree took down the line and we're waiting for the technician to arrive.
Y'all should have an over the air antenna in case of an emergency, like a hurricane. If I'm ever in Dallas "Oregon", I'll install one for you.
Y’all know you aint beatin in 40 seconds…🤣
finally tapping into this episode! shit is so funny and im ALWAYS down to see yall react to a randy episode. much love
The one computer is outside 😂😂
Y'all are awesome keep up the south park content bros!
28:18 talk about being in a 'sticky' situation... that scene cracks me up every time 💀🤣
Been waiting on y’all to do this
Randy being himself as usual lol
In my country they test the alarm sirens first Monday of every month 12 o clock sometimes I forget it’s the first Monday and panic a little 🤣🤣
Bro I swear this is the funniest South Park reacts channel 😂😂
