I tired making this and they literally came out perfect !! Try making them all in a single batch because I made them in a batch of two’s and the second batch was not too good
Small size balls are easy to handle but if you made big size let them set and absorb the sugar syrup. They will be fluffy and light weight when fry but they will deflate when absorb sugar syrup. If they don’t shrink it means they will be hard and dry from inside. Keep stirring the balls in sugar syrup for couple of minutes so they don’t loose the shape.

Hi I made this recipe yesterday Al was perfect bt it s literally hard wat was d mistak I made I followed all measurements correctly wat u said pl rly wat was d mistak?
As I mentioned in the video, make a soft dough if dough is hard then Gulab jamun will be hard after absorbing the sugar syrup so make a soft dough and they will be spongy and soft after absorbing sugar syrup.
Unfortunately i dont understand hindi- Im Afghan, so can you write in english the do‘s and don‘t do’s. I love Gulab jamuuuuuuuun soooooo much but i tried a lot and all gone wrong - but im sure with ur recipe it will work- im motivated now again 😙😁😁😁

In your description you said 2 cups sugar =400 grams

May be because of temperature
At commercial level they use a lot of sugar syrup in two batches cold and hot I already cut down the recipe so make sure you follow all the tips

Nice recipe I made them today but they sort of deflated a bit what do you think I did wrong ? Maybe made them too big ?
