Need to distinguish between areas inside the city limits of Tucson, South Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley and unincorporated Pima County. Services, roads and infrastructure (or lack of) are vastly different. Taxes vary greatly. City of Tucson sales tax is 8.6% vs 6.1% in the county.
Dove Mountain and the Dove Mountain communities are also in Marana and they are all very close to big box stores. I'd also contend that Dove Mountain is just a big as Gladden Farms and the area has a ton of new builds. Twin Peaks exit also has an outlet mall, ER, and lots of other conveniences. Oro Valley also has the best graded hospital in the area.
I enjoyed getting to know Tucson and the area around it and you did a very good job of narrating it all. As a middle class retired man I am still puzzled at how any normal working class person will ever own a home in this current society due to the out of reach prices?? It seems that all the nice neighborhoods require salaries upward of 150,000$ to qualify. Another example of "The two class system" The Democrats have been trying to ignore~! Thanks for your work on this channel and I subscribed and liked the video.
Thank you for your feedback! There are still some good options in and around Tucson especially in new construction with their rates and incentives, but you’re right, overall home prices have definitely increased. Thanks for subscribing and watching!
Libs from all over ,come to Tucson, then vote the same foolish policies in. Those policies didn't work where they came from, but somehow will work elsewhere? NOOOOO.
Tucson used to be one of the most affordable places to live in the country, everything started going up in price when people started moving here in droves.
"The ultimate Tucson tour" proceeds to highlight areas that are not Tucson or barely have any area within Tucson . So, basically, the Ultimate tour means higher end areas and not actually Tucson Got it.
@livingintucsonrachel Perhaps you should have had a different title to your video, maybe "The Ultimate Tour of Surrounding Areas of Tucson" Having moved from the Los Angeles area, your title was like a Los Angeles Realtor posting a video titled "The Ultimate Tour of LA" and then focus on the San Fernando Valley, Pasadena, Duarte, and Long Beach.
Exactly! I’m born and raised here and all these areas are the out skirts , she’s just trying to sell houses to all these people from out of town (cali mostly)
I absolutely LOVE your content! I am planning to move to the Tucson area this year and these videos have been so informative. I've been having a hard time finding videos regarding the apartment/rental market there. I would love to see some more content on the rental market as well if possible 🥰 Thank you for putting together such fantastic videos!!
I’m so glad that you’re enjoying them! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions and I can point you in the right direction when it comes to rentals. (520-335-0350) I mainly work with buyers and sellers, but I have contacts when it comes to rentals. Thanks again for watching!
Nice video. We are planning a move from dreary Wisconsin to a better climate and of all the states we are considering we keep coming back to Arizona. We are dog people, we have several rescues. Most of the homes we see in Catalina Foothills don't have tall walls...I'm thinking we need 8 foot walls and a coyote roller to help keep our dogs safe but I'm wondering if this area is governed by HOA's that don't allow taller walls. We are amenable to building, but we were contemplating a home with a center courtyard so no worries about coyotes but I don't know what the restrictions are there. We don't want to live on top of our neighbors like the Phoenix area, we want at least an acre of land, and if it is an HOA they have to allow 3 dogs and larger breeds - we have boxers and a pittie mix. What are our options?
Thanks for watching! Typically for any of the homes in the Foothills area that are on a bigger lot, like an acre, they are less likely to have restrictions on wall height. They might still have an HOA, but it’s typically a more relaxed governing board compared to homes that are on small lots and in more master planned communities. Feel free to call or text me so I can get more details from you and help assist! (520)335-0350 👍🏼
Thanks for sharing. I’m thinking about relocating to Tucson next year and will definitely get in touch with you. Sahuarita is definitely my ideal place because of the location and my place of work. Can you please share the link of some builder in the area?
Thanks for watching! That’s great to hear! If you have any questions about Sahuarita and or new construction, I’d be happy to help you. Here’s a link for all new construction. www.newhomesource.com/homes/az/tucson-area Some of the popular builders in that area are going to be Meritage Homes, KB Homes, Lennar Homes, Richmond American, and a few others!
You’ve commented multiple times on my videos, all criticizing me. What’s the point? Do you not have anything else better to do? Sorry you’ve been having bad days.

If you are thinking about moving to Tucson, don’t. Sincerely a lot of Tucson natives 🤣
Beware! Vail has traffic issues. The roads are not keeping up with the developments. Also, there is no public transportation there.
Thanks for your feedback and for watching!
I'm not a fan of poors, progressives, and public transportation.
Super hot, chronic shortage of police, all Democrat government.
Yep
Don’t come here then. Literally anywhere that ain’t Tucson is heavily republican. Move there
Yes, people better do their homework before they settle in Tucson=could be a huge mistake in their lives~!!
Don't forget California level taxes - and homeless EVERYWHERE! Thank you city council & mayor!
Let’s talk about the worse roads of any town I have ever visited. A very poorly run city.
If you like high crime rate, severe urban blight and minimal police presence then the city of South Tucson is for you!
lols
@@RCDesertRat I hear the Eastside is worse. Gun shots heard practically every night.
The very worst. Nobody is talking about moving there.

Why don’t you cover the actual inner Tucson area?
We’ll be covering central Tucson and throughout in an upcoming video. I appreciate the feedback and thanks for watching!
She's only speaking about the "upscale " places y not talk about ft Lowell n stone or th and ajo or park n 36th lmao
As someone who lives in the inner Tucson area, I wouldn't wish this on anyone.
And the crap hole is become under Regina
Oreo Valley has very high property taxes….you’re not speaking about that.
As another person born and raised here avoid Arizona this place sucks. Great work on the video though.
Very informative- thank you so much!!
You are so welcome! If you have any real estate questions, just let me know and I’d be happy to help!

Got it.
There is a whole video dedicated to central Tucson. But as you know, all the areas mentioned make up the greater Tucson area. Thanks

This video is funny because all the places listed are places I would avoid like a plague covered in poop and painful disease. Especially OV.
The golf courses will be the death of us all. Water mismanagment everywhere.
Stay North of Tanque Verde. Your welcome.
Thanks for watching!
Don't come... Don't come.
Actually you went to Utterback! And were in Dance!
Did you go to Tucson High? You look so familiar
Yes, Tucson High. Thanks for watching!
your lovey shout out to tuc town my jefa from barrio anita but she moved to cali
Don’t for get about the Mountain Lions and Coyotes, and snakes and hobona pigs
Yes you are correct. Thanks for watching!
@@livingintucsonracheldon’t forget about the highly poisonous scorpions either!
Yes, and crime rate and Water Problems~!!!
yeah there is a big trash dump NW of Tucson, I personally wouldn't buy property there
Yeah there’s a few throughout the greater Tucson area. Thanks for watching!
Please talk about South Tucson. Talk positively though. I know I will get a lot of late.
Thanks for your feedback! I’ll get a video out on that in the very near future. Thank you for watching!
If it's not North of Ina it's not worth talking about. Ironically, Oro Valley, Marana, Sauarita, etc...are NOT Tucson. Edit your title!
There is no such thing as a “sub town” 🤦♀️
“ Police is very strict there? “ 🤦♀️ You should probably stick to doing make-up tutorials.
