They screwed up the iconic vw microbus WHY WHY
It's not real because VW knows how many recalls they would have on all the fancy electronics. Why can't car manufactures realize that real car enthusiasts what a chrome plated mechanical car, not a robot with wheels and a bunch of diodes that break and look cheap.

This is not a modern version of the microbus. Its too complicated!! If you are going to make a microbus make is simple & rugged like its grandfather!

Most anticipated? At a car show, it'd be yet another concept. Big deal. That said, now that VW has ruined their brand, it'd be in their best interest to ASAP some of their concepts. For a bus concept, they could take the core of what made their last buses so popular -- namely freedom, and if they were to be so honest sex & drugs or at least partying -- and roll that in. I don't think you have too much freedom and certainly can't have sex in a tiny bus. But nice try. And festival goers in Europe really need something to sleep in. So do American burners.
Yet another crappy VW electric vehicle "concept" that isn't going into production for years, if ever. And this one looks like it has 0.001% of the Microbus DNA in it.. mostly in the form of the badge on the front. It looks more like a giant Mini on steroids than a VW bus.
Come on VW: stop pissing around. Just build a classic bus body with an electric drive train under the floor and a >250 mile range. It shouldn't be this difficult for a supposedly competent car company to manage surely?
