"Oh how I wish you'd shut up dear" so polite yet so savage. John is a gem
One of the best reactions to pain meds, Glyn. He was trippin! 😂😂😂
His eyes 👀 were rolling in the back of his head….lol
@@hollybiegel4345😂😂 I'm pretty sure they gave him ketamine....pain relief and a trip to the 5th dimension!! 🙃
I love how the doctors introduce themselves by their first name😊
It's the same here in Fremantle Hospital (Western Australia). First names only are used whether you're a nurse, a patient, a surgeon, a caterer, a porter or whatever. It's a policy that does much to help people relax in what may be a really strange environment to them.
@@maggiematthews3517it’s like that in america as well
What a lovely episode. The relationship between the two older men, John & Martin?, was obviously what true friendship is all about.
Yes, agreed!
Well said.
more than a friendship i think..beautiful ciuple
Yes I agree, I have a female best friend, and I'm sure we get whispers, behind our back, but I don't care, and they shouldn't either!!!❤
@@carlettelynch7859 Whispers?
so great to acknowledge platonic friendships of love and support!🦌💌❤️🙏
ALL friendships are beautiful!
they should start recording all the doctors/nurses at hospitals in the US and canada, maybe then they'd actually take care of their patients lmaoo
Please. Could you imagine? This show makes our ERs look like hell.
Who doesn’t love the polka dot ladies! They have so much fun at work 😊
John, I’m 66 & forget words already! He’s doing great for his age. My aunt lived to 94 & was very together until the week before she died of kidney failure. This is such a wonderful show.
I have spent a lot of time in the hospital this past year. Here in the United States and I have been taken care of by wonderful doctors and nurses and other staff.
Great episode. Friends are precious!
Georgina is simply gorgeous!
We all need each other ❤❤❤❤❤
Poor martin. 😢 john is his only friend, and only person he knows in the city. Him and john are great friends… but i hope martin makes more friends too.
Glyn is a champion!
I love this show. Such great friendships.
I think the lady who was sending the lovely old doctor the cakes would have liked a bit more!!! Very sweet
What a coincidence!!!Glyn was fishing in Eastern Canada & I am watching from Eastern Canada!!! Love this show!
Heartwarming men's friedships, you got to give and be open to receive.
😂 what's a friedship????????
My new favorite show it shows there’s still some great people out there trying their best to help others. Thank y’all for what you do GOD BLESS
John what a sweet man
Of course...He's a Kiwi❤😊
The friendships in this episode, warms my heart ❤ wish I had that.
Aww! John seems a lovely chap, and his dear friend is awesome!
The friendships of the four men were wonderful to see. St. George's Hospital is quite the place...very impressive.
Glen is seeing pretty colors!!!!!!! Wheeeeeeeeeee
John and Martin's story is exactly the same as mine and my Carer. We are very close, not just because neither of us want to end up being a 'suspicious bad smell' in the neighbourhood. We have no family and no loved ones and no friends. That's what old age does to people on their own.
You shouldn't have regrets because everything happens for a reason you were put in I will say your son's path to save his life from suicide that was your goal in life your purpose and you did that you're a 93 you've done an amazing job
Thank you for posting!!
Oh myyy... I've completely fallen in love with both Martin and Dr. John! Such wonderful people! These two are amazing brothers in their hearts. 💞
Mr John and Mr Martin have such a wonderful relationship. Did they say Mr John was 93? He looks good
John has an OBE. Wonderful accomplishment!
I think they gave Glyn some ketamine before they redid the ankle joint. It has that rocket ship effect.
Diverticulitis is the most pain I ever had.I'm glad I don't have it right now.
I just love watching these shows.
Bless Glens heart, he had such a a bad time!
South Island Represent. Cheers John!
I love hospital videos.
John get well soon from New Zealand
So special
Those chairs in the waiting room are awful. Torture devices.
“I love those fish.” “I’d marry those fish”
They aren’t even real fish 😭 so much more meaningful and entertaining
She's been spending too much time on Plenty of Fish.
lovely men ,wish i had a friendship like them,i did have a great friend but we lost contack she was like a sister,u 2 guys make me smile
Glyn was really away with the fairies there wasn't he? 🤣
Would imagine it is a battle field 😢
What's sepsis you should have given IV antibiotics right then and there instead of giving him more pills that will take longer to kick in
Exactly! I thought that too.
Ohh how the world has changed people don’t have friends like this anymore …I have neighbours and we have been like family for 50 years when we all came to live in Australia us from England and them from New Zealand ❤❤❤
" come out the way she came in" lol females have amazing bodies
i had sepsis when i was about 8 years old, lucky they caught it early and i didnt have to go to hospital, i just needed a course of antibiotics.
Hope they screen the baby w ear infection for food allergies! I had ear infections throughout childhood that only stopped whenI had allergy tests & stopped eating oatmeal!! ❤
No no doc it's a friend with weed is a friend in deed 😂
Can I have some of that guys meds?? It looks like it works well!! ❤
With a sepsis patient, why not do IV antibiotics instead of oral? IV can get in there quicker and get started hitting that infection harder.
Maybe that’s just my opinion.
Yeah it kills my mom died from sepsis that she had been fighting off and on for years after a brown recluse spider bite
I've never seen these inhalant painkillers in the US. I wonder why those aren't used here. Is it some issue with the FDA?
There's a lot that they don't do here in the States. Too many politicians interfering with allowing doctors to use appropriate pain management for patients. The NHS also applied battlefield medicine to the streets. The ambulance service is separate from the fire service. All British ambulance crews get a college degree in emergency medicine. American paramedics basically scoop and transport.
What medication is in the inhalant painkiller?
I think it’s called gas and air. Probably nitrous oxide or laughing gas. It’s a short acting relaxant.
They also use the inhalant in Australia. I watch Bondi Rescue and they use something almost identical.
@roselundgren4898 is called Penthrox. And apparently the FDA banned it in the US because of renal toxicity and cost. (I'd bet it was more about cost.)
Watching how the couple with the little girl run their fingers across each other's mouths makes me think how quick we forget the sanitation practices during Civid. We touch infected surfaces and touch our mouths without thinking of the risks.
I had a difficult time understanding some of the people 😢
Most of us do. Practice, practice
John, the father of the little girl seems a bit cold towards his daughter
18:04 “curvature- is that a word” I mean really? 😅
John looks like Idris Elba.
John is a 94 year old white man. What are you talking about?
@SJC49 they are talking about the little girls father. His name is also John. He is black.
I love the friendship and relation of the reception ests in the videos They like their jobs👍🥴👏👏🤗🤗🫤🙃😁❤️💞💕💫🌟
John got very BIG ears😅
