Hi Susie, I've had a go and having fun with this and quite pleased with my first attempt, not sure if I can share with you though, I don't think I can do this on utube?
@@shonacrosthwaite4136 Hi Sharon you can share your image via a message on my Susie R Photography facebook page, the link is in the description below the video.
What a fantastic video, thank you! If I may suggest, can you make your microphone a bit louder? I look forward to trying this and looking at your other content!
Hi Robin unfortunately I have a health condition that affects my voice, I do use a high quality microphone, so apologies for that. I'm glad you enjoyed the video, thank you very much for watching.
My favourites too Susan. Just take your time and don’t try and learn everything at once. There is so much to Photoshop, just decide the look you want and learn those bits.
Love watching your technique Sue. I often have a go myself with my computer and iPad side by side so I can take each step as you go through it. I’m going to delve deeper into my photography archive to see what I can find. Do you find this technique works better on multi petal flowers?
Thank you so much Pauline, it helps to receive comments like yours so that I know I’m getting my tutorials right for you. I am by no means an expert and sometimes I am learning right with you. This technique works on every type of flower more time consuming in the select and mask stage the more detailed the image.
Absolutely stunning, can't wait to try it myself.
Thanks for watching.
Have fun!
Hi that was a good video that flower looks beautiful. I am very new to photoshop layers masks etc so I hope I can do this 😊

Dahlia's are one of my favorite flowers and this looks so good. I've got a lot to learn.

Wow! Great demonstration Sue and doing it slowly helps me to understand as I’m not good on the computer!
You can do it Helen, if I can you can. Be good to see how you get on.
Lovely gentle and slow demonstration - perfect! Id love to know how you did the orb.
Thank you for your comments Matthew, it has taken me a few videos to settle down and relax. There is an orb tutorial amongst my videos. Have fun !
Another great tutorial Su!
Thank you Jennie, glad you enjoyed it

What were your oil paint settings- I love how subtle they are.
Hi Judy accept the same settings for both passes of the oil paint filter on the tutorial, first pass with lighting on, 2nd pass with lighting off.
