Alternatives to SpaceX for launch are emerging and while ULA and Blue are going to be busy with Kuiper, Rocket Lab is soon bringing a new scalable launch vehicle Neutron. This will be ASTS backup for SpaceX monopolist behavior (see WSJ article on SpaceX extorting frequencies from One Web and Kuiper to lainch them).
Starlink is making deals with cellphone service providers. This year starting with T-Mobile. The idea is that your phone can use whichever service is available anywhere on earth. No, satellite doesn't work in tunnels but your T-Mobile may have service in that tunnel
So funny when all this headlines are to take over anything of Elon Musk. Do they just never read the line, you can't catch up to the dude. He's a frickin fucking genius, he has knowledge in the field of what he's creating unlike the others that are just CEO or president of companies.
@@Napssamuel you clearly are completely unfamiliar with the career of Sir Peter Beck, a rocket builder since a boy. He just did not have billions from other businesses or from NASA to carelessly throw into R&D, he had to learn to very efficiently use every penny, and build everything inhouse, before finally gaining access to some real investment capital that now delivers in spades.
6 month stock performance is amazing. Missed it!
overvalued
More waves to come. Don't worry.

Elon Musk and Richard Branson deserve the biggest share….its easy to start a software company but a B2G Space Company is insane

Lot of question dodging
is this company already launching or just prepping?
D%mb @ss comment about shorting the AST shares, every single share/stock has shares that are shorted

Wow Caroline really exposed a risk signal with that short interest question
So 60 satellites to launch next year?
rocketlab will have a hard time doing so and i dont think ast will do so. could b wrong
Elon is over. All his companies face competition and he is doing Disneyland shows
Starlink...it's simple.
Yeah, if you want to carry a dish around and a special phone. Not that simple.

@@ritchhubert You may want to investigate a bit deeper.
