Big tips that you may have figured out: Due to the front biased nature of the AWD system, stay in throttle when sideways. The front wheels will claw you out whichever direction you point them. But you have to stay in throttle, otherwise it'll slide you sideways very quickly.

Ripped around in my speed the other day in the snow as well 👌🏼 lots of fun, although I got winters on so not as easy to get sideways :(
you actually have control of whats the car is doing imo, i find mine pretty easy to get side ways

I can't wait to repair my MS6 and give it a try in snow as well (i bought it with dead engine). But I'm afraid it will take a long time.

You will get it run brother :) I bought a speed 3 with a bad engine too rebuilt it now it's running . Also a friend of mine bought a speed 6 with a bad engine which today we are buying the parts to rebuilt it 🔥🙏🏻

Been thinking about getting a white or black Mazdaspeed6, but your dark grey color is great.
Get winter tyres, so much more control and speed in the snow, especially braking will be very different and e brake will work.

The rear diff disengages when you pull the handbrake on the 6 (e brake) im from the uk hahaha love the snow here too

Love it! Also question.. I’ve been tryna find a head unit for the Mazda 6.. Do to know where I can get one for cheap that has Bluetooth built in? Definitely been looking into other solutions but my car has an aux mod. I really want Bluetooth though, but I’ll have to change my stereo for that
I know they make cigarette outlet Bluetooth aux’s that you turn your radio to a certain station and it will play whatever you want from your phone. I’ll try To find a link, it would be a easier and cheaper solution instead of doing the headunit.
Or since you already have AUX mod you could get a Bluetooth adapter that connects to the existing aux cord. I’ll find a few links for you.

I honestly didn't know they had a bluetooth adaptor for AUX, that's perfect!
After driving a whole Alaskan winter on some bald 215/45r18 summers, let me tell you, that it's either 5mph understeer into the centerpoint of an apex, or immidiately reactive snap overseer. And the e brake only has an effect when you got real grip in the front. I had tire chains I ran in the front when it got real bad. But after we got more than 2 feet of powder in a day or 2, it was just too much. My cars been buried up to the windshield for about a month now... Sad panda...

I want to buy my brothers speed 6 but he says its too unreliable. Does have 170k miles though.
Wow 170k is impressive
They aren’t unreliable if you make sure to take care of them and always change your oil on time and dont beat on them with bad oil. I can understand why he would say it’s unreliable if the car hasn’t been taken the best care of and its now getting up close to 200k.
