The first time someone played heimerdinger against me he beat me so hard the next game I was a heimerdinger main with a skin and 200 years of experience
It depends. Early game, usually you just have to be the Heimers bitch. But once you get strong enough you can kind of win against him. Akali counters him hard, Zed too.
I always learn so much about each champ watching you... both the ones you play and face. Just being more knowledgeable about each champions "micro" mechanics makes playing so much more fun.
For a non Heimer main his knowledge is so in depth. Respect!

Heimer is like Shaco, you should always buy as fast as possible if you die because the turrets will get the bonus stats instantly. So in the second death you could have quickly bought Liandry's and it would have contributed to the fight that occurred around them.

I've been trying to transition to mid from top lane and Heimerdinger is just such a neat character concept. After a few frustrating games and people telling me "heimer does nothing", I feel like I can go back into the Rift and kick some butt with this knowledge :-)

It's so funny what you say about turrets messing up last hits. I used to play heimerdonger like 10 years ago for the opposite reason. I felt like his turrets helped me hit last hits that I might otherwise miss. LMAO I don't feel that way any more, after having honed my last hitting skills.

Late and random but curious.. did you ever play Heimer back when his passive gave him and his turrets health regen? He could actually heal lane turrets with that passive, and while slow..was interesting.

Any1 who wants heimer tech build ludens it’s on a 2-3 sec cd when your turrets are dpsing and it gives you a lot of movespeed when turrets are hitting
Ludens says it only take of 3 sec per cd it seems to apply to all of being turret

Im a heim main and you shouldnt always up Q first against mages champs you should still go W first, also your runes are fine for easy matchups like swain where you can actually poke him a lot, heimer is a champion that can do good with lots of different runes and build you have to take advantage of that if you want to climb in high elo

That is probably the most annoying champion to play against.
He can just sit and relax by his turrets. I believe all three have a higher dps than a regular rift turret. So if you want to kill Heimer it's as hard as to tower dive him.

I hate heimer mid 😂 i cant do shit vs him, i don t know what i could do to be useful in the mid game
let me know when u find out this shit is singlehandedly ruining my games... and i play draft so sometimes i dont even get the chance to TRY to counterpick it my zoe/vex just gets anihilated and i cant farm or leave my turret all game, nobody can gank they will insta die to turrets, and the heim sits back putting in absolutely no effort and shutting me down... so balanced
