Tempted by this Talisker at £50. Hmmm I bought 4 of the Laga 12s @ £50. Tried it last night. Needs a good airing and a touch of water but an excellent, unusual Lagavulin. Glad I have three more for the stash.
I bought one myself. It arrived yesterday. Diageo have become victims of their own greed. Sales are down, and their share prices have been tumbling for several years now. I doubt they'll correct course, unfortunately. They'll probably just double down on the price increases.
Lovely stuff Jason. Its pleasure to watch at morning coffee. We love(loved?) Talisker but we hate what diageo done with this fantastic distillery and their whiskies!! 57' North its what we want back at human price. Cheers 😁🥂🥂🥂🙋♂️

The special release 2021 8yr is my favorite. It’s the most heavily peated Talisker I’ve had. Let’s see that Talisker blind soon, please! Sláinte 🥃

Found it at 86 Euros. I love Talisker, so can't wait.
I will compare it to my last and open bottle of Talisker 57 north.

If Diageo could sell water mixed with alcohol and whisky concentrate, as Scotch, they would. It is telling that these releases are still available.
That’s what they ARE doing with many of these. It’s embarrassing for Diageo.
