    Nice. I have he plugin and it can work wonders. Only i wish that comparissons "Before-After" happen in a sequence of 1) Crank it up cause it`s a nice way to hear the end result and see if it audibly clips. then 2) Do an A-B with matched Volume with an without the Limiter to see how it affects the Tonal Balance. Other than that nice video with a tad too Loud voice over. It`s literally VOICE OVER.... everything :-)

    Really cool idea. I like this concept. I think it might face the same problems soothe has, like for example the fact it has to hit so many individual frequencies can actually make it sound less natural in the end. But I think this could potentially save a badly mixed song, at the very least, somewhat

    • @Trainingsnacks

      Agreed. Like any audio tool you need to use your ears and do what sounds right to you. Try out the 30-day, fully-functional demo to see if you dig it.

      And wtf you think sounding natural is? Stop with this misleading anti Art amateur bs. You wanna be natural then stop making music and go live with chimpanzee's in a jungle somewhere.

      Thank you so much. Unfortunately, we hadn't thought of that while making the video. As you know, it's a mastering plug-in and mastering makes music louder. Yes we should’ve kept the loudness matched but unfortunately, didn’t. Not to fool but to educate people what mastering actually does and how this plug-in will make your music sound. We encourage you to download the 30 day fully functional demo to decide for yourself if you like and want to buy.

      @@Trainingsnacks This is a waht the fuck argument you provide here. To perceive the changes of such tools anyone needs proper gain matching! Looking at what you did in the end it seemed your deliverate choice to A/B without the auto gain match. Bad!

    • @YungstarProd
      @YungstarProd 9 месяцев назад

      @@Trainingsnacksyeah…that wasn’t a good argument. To truly showcase what elevate can do-match gain can show what elevate is doing not not just loudness perception.
      I bought it nonetheless, but this was a bad decision and might be misleading.

    Elevate can make the mix transparent and instruments cut through a mix, but with most presets sometimes too much, e. g. vocals get too prominent, like they do not belong to the mix, like they are unglued from the mix. I miss a compressor in their mastering bundle. Cpu usage is high.

  • @meedily

    Why don't the demos ever compensate for volume changes for the plugin. Very deceiving.

    • @Trainingsnacks
      @Trainingsnacks  7 лет назад +3

      meedily our intention wasn't to deceive you. In fact there's actually a feature called Match Level near the Active button that would compensate for volume changes. We probably should've kept that on to your point. However, we encourage you to download the fully-functional demo so you can hear the difference with your own source material.

    • @joelybarish4618
      @joelybarish4618 7 лет назад +9

      You definitely should've left the Match Level setting on. It would probably be worth redoing the video to give people a better picture of what Elevate is achieving. Also if you could take a little longer to explain the choices you make that would help. 3:21 really isn't enough time to properly explain what Elevate can do.

    • @Trainingsnacks
      @Trainingsnacks  7 лет назад +2

      Joely Barish we do explain why we're making each tweak but check out this video to learn more about each feature. ruclips.net/video/KardBa0JpLw/видео.html
      In general, compressed RUclips videos listened to on phones isn't the ideal environment to demo a mastering plug-in which is why we encourage you to download the demo to try it. We can't redo the video at this point but will try to make a quick reference file to upload to SoundCloud or RUclips. The major difference is original becomes distorted, especially in the kick drum where we tamed the transients. In addition, the guitars and hats aren't as bright.

      The music software industry survives because of amateurs and professionals alike. Everybody is in a different place in their music ability, whether amateur or professional. The purpose of this demo is to showcase how the software works. Liking the song or thinking it's 'worth' mastering is subjective and we already know your opinion on it, similarly to how other people have commented that they like actually like it.
