Can you post a photo of your Defender's speedometer? Every vehicle I have seen always has the main measure big and within the binnacle, its counterpart mi/km per hour smaller and a different shaded color. I am surprised if yours doesn't. I guess what I am saying is that you should not need a cheat sheet to figure out at what speed you are going. If I am wrong, I am wrong. Keep up the great videos.
Hey! Actually we noticed cars in the USA have the two measures but back in france we only have the km/h on all our other cars. We cannot post a picture in comment but it is only km/h. It is fine we ended up remembering the main speed limits quickly. Thank you for your comment thought and the kind words!

You'll find the red rock country from Moab down to Sedona to be some of the most spectacular desert on the planet. Perfect time to enjoy it with the lack of summertime heat and crowds. Mexico is a beautiful and fascinating country. The northern border regions are beset by cartel wars contesting the lucrative North American drug market. Drive straight through the first couple of hundred miles and only stay in one of the many gated RV parks overnight. Actually I wouldn't cross anywhere on the Texas border -- better from Arizona or eastern California. Once you are south of Culican you are in a country as safe as the US. And much less expensive. I've remote camped down thru Mexico, but I wouldn't do it again due to the wisdom of advancing age! Most little hotels have interior courtyards where you can park securely overnight, with the added advantage of meeting people while searching them out. The problem with remote camping is that people live everywhere all over the landscape, and a solo vehicle offers a temptation to locals who don't have any wealth. My favorite North/South route is down Baha then taking the ferry overnight to Puerto Valllrta. Fair Winds!
