Thank you so much, this works like a charm! I put it on before my sleep and when I wake up my lips are not chapped, they are not super smooth but I'm working towards that result. I used to wake up with my lips so chapped that they'd bleed if I smiled. I also may use it once or twice during the day if I don't feel like aplying lip balm 1 million times bc this stays on my lips for way longer besides hidratating them more. (Sorry for any grammar error, english is not my first language)
I use Mongo Kiss lip balm and top it with Aquaphor ointment, and it works amazing. No matter what, though, you will probably want to use something moisturizing under the Vaseline, as it actually doesn’t moisturize your lips; it just prevents moisture loss.

What I used to do when my hands in general were cracked and dry, get a tin of bag balm and some rubber gloves. Apply the bag balm to your hands before you go to bed and wear gloves. I even used to do this while working. D

No. Don't use vaseline or any petroleum jelly for your lips. It doesn't work. Makes my lips worse than ever
U need to use it mixed with other moisturising ingredients or on top of a moisturiser for Vaseline to work effective as it is an occlusive moisturiser
i used Vaseline on my crusty dry lips and it works wonders
What doesn't work for you works great for another person so please don't dispute it
