- I no longer have that the mis-matched suspension pieces. I have all powertrix parts.
This was a warm start and rev.
Sound clip of my TT Z32 with the rear section taken off.
Revved to 7,500.
thats fucking awesome
I've been thinking about getting an electronic or boost-actuated cutout - nice to hear that the TT sounds WAY better than the N/A straight-piped.
Thanks! Put it in one of your videos if you want to, I wouldn't mind.
That was my alternator belt squealing. Need to tighten it. Takes a few tries to start the car, bad starter appendix, and it drains the battery a tad bit.
I have that same fucking squeak on my belts wont go away no matter if I tighten it or loosen it
Mine only squeak because it takes several tries to start my car, bad starter, and it drains the battery a bit, so it pulls harder on my alternator.
Oil them up
Been trying to find one for me but that twin turbo one hard to find with someone already doing something to the body
can you drive it this way? I have a 1990 300zx and i want to do this, i just cant find anywhere if its alright to drive around with the pipes exposed under there like that
Yeah, it's perfectly fine to run it like this. Depending on where you live though, you may get pulled over by the police for your car being too loud.
I do its is fine. Your ears will ring alot but you will sound like a boss driving everywhere in a sport diesel lol
@@The_Raven_ wow 4 years ago haha, ive learned so much since then. Shortly there after i ran open headers even lol. Looking at this question i feel like an idiot haha. Thank you for answering though! lol
nice !! at first, it sounds like a bird..was it belt something?
Are you running just a downpipe and test pipes
Yeah, Downpipes and testpipe.
Did you do a NA rear subframe swap? I cant see any HICAS components
+300zxMaster1 Yes, it has an NA subframe and diff. I have since changed all rear suspension components to Powertrix.
What did you do to have the turbo sound when the rpm drops??... I have a 96TT with 3" down pipes with 3" test pipes coned to 2.5"
Joshua Dinh get rid of the cats and you'll hear spool on the rpm drop.
are the pipes bridged(can't think of a better word)?
Midnight Cafe If it is, it would be best to run a different setup. Turbocharged engines do not really benefit from X-pipes and H-pipes and a true dual setup in this case would probably be best.
Are straight pipes bad for your car
And also what other mods do you have
No, not at all. Running straight pipes, or shorter exhaust, is typically better for power, less restriction. But depending on where you live, straight pipes may be against the law and enforced.
I have a lot of mods, I'll list the major ones.
ASHSpec ecu 5-speed
Nismo 615cc Injectors
Selin Dual MAF translator for running two MAFs
JWT Air filters
Z1 2.5" Intercooler Piping
AVS, Spec Core, SMICs
Specialty Z 2.5" Stainless Exhaust, with Sebring Tuning Mufflers (Not In Video)
All Emissions deleted
That's all the major stuff I think. Making around 420whp on 18psi.
You loose aspiration go full exhaust
Next redue those headers. Get that gurgle sound 🔊 going.
Belt squeal lol
