I only watched clips of the show but I think Jiyeon probably changed her mind on Sehoon because competition showed up and suddenly he seemed more desirable. Saw another commenter saying she started seeing him with different eyes after Sehoon let on that he owned a restaurant in Gangnam. 😂

Leah, you should watch exchange. It’s a Tvn show about exes who are living in one house but is revealed later in the show so no one knows whose exes is who. It’s really exciting to witness their getting to know each other stage and you would be shock on whose exes is who although one is very obvious but others are shocking. This was released way earlier than single’s inferno and was popular in South Korea. It’s kinda like single’s inferno but full of twist and real, at least for me. I would even go as far and assume that the reason why Korean dating shows has become popular is because of this show. I also noticed that there has been an increasing number of dating shows for the later part of last year and i would assume again it’s because of this show. This show is really different from your usual dating shows, it doesn’t have any intimate scenes but they’re also going somewhere. They’re really getting to know each other. You really should watch it.
Prefer exhange over single inferno, it was so exciting to see how the person was trying to hide their feelings when their exes develop new feelings with other persons. Some of them have not been fully moved on some of them are okay as friends
@@acuyuhan Right? It was very exciting to watch and was very surprising with its twists. You don’t really know what’s gonna happen so it’s very shocking when it does. I never saw the trailer for the next episode so i didn’t really know what’s gonna happen but i was so shocked when it’s time to reveal their exes altogether because i didn’t expect it. They were just told to gather in one place and when they did, they were informed that it’s time for revealing your exes. That’s what i liked the most in the show, i didn’t know what would happen and i’m always surprised. Who were you rooting for? I was rooting for Coco and her ex to get back together.

I just want to clarify that i was rooting for Coco and Minjae to get back together WHILE watching the show. I know that they have already moved on and they didn’t choose each other and i’m fine with that.

Out of the 2 or 3 Single's Inferno reviews I've watched, this one is the best, hands down. All of you gave nuanced opinions across the board (which is rare to come across in reviews where strong/set opinions are taken as more "entertaining" 🤷). Like talking about Sehoon's needing closure and the difficulty Jiyeon would've faced in expressing her true emotions on camera, to JiA's media-trained narrative. LOVE the way Fauzi expresses himself, and Amanda's candid comments on cross-cultural differences. I didn't watch the show (seems like a try-hard PC whitewashed programme, quite cringe), but am all caught up on the trend liao thanks to you guys. More chats on trending topics like this please 👍
i honestly watched the show and i was like deadass worried for Sehoon. like he gave another girl like false hopes and all (not that its entirely its fault) but uk. its basically a crazy love hexagon in the show anyway. so i just gave up keeping up w its trend so whatever
i really didn't like how soyeon got mad at jintaek for going to paradise on the 2nd day and saying things like "i chose sehoon for paradise because i knew he wouldn't pick me, i wanted to stay in inferno with jintaek" when in reality sehoon WAS her next desired choice... then she tried to flip it again, trying to find a backup by saying that she liked sehoon.. very shady to me
Well jintaek shouldnt have said he wanted to go to paradise only with soyeon. I mean yea sure he was allowed to go with another person to paradise coz they arent a thing yet but all those sweet talk he did to jiyeon? He should just be direct and said he liked someone else or just said he did it for fun and he wasnt tryin to play with soyeon's heart
there are way more interesting korean dating shows other than singles' inferno. heart signal, transit love and love catcher are more interesting to watch. singles' inferno is kinda dry imo but it blew up bc netflix picked it up

I watched the show and it was actually not that bad, my fav female cast was probably jiyeon (appearance) but overall I'll probably choose yeawon (personality) bcoz she seem like a fun person to be with and sehoon was my fav male cast as he's a good model to other guys to not give up when pursuing a girl
Finally some voice of reason. So yeon was the real confident woman who stand up for herself. Jia is an immature young girl trying to manipulate others cuz she doesn't know what she wants
I would suggest you guys to watch Splitsvilla, it's also same like a show where only couple can survive. Tbh it's kind of fun 😂😂 like they argue and fight a lots, very much curse words and games going on. This show don't judge personal appearance but judge their attitudes and i think Splitsvilla is very good compare to infero
i think ji a slowly lost interest in hyun seung cos he wasn't sweet and she likes sweet n sexy guys. HS kept saying don't get tattoos, etc whereas a sweet guy would probably be like, "i'll be attracted to you whether or not you have tattoos".
singles inferno wasnt a netflix show its originally a jbtc show same channel as brought heart signal... jia doesnt do it for me personally oh youngjoo was from heart signal is more attracting from heart signal... jia was also on another variety cooking show prior.... so she not new to being on tv... besides that i thought she was very transparent n see thru n only brought the show as being a pretty girl who just took it as her own to make her own channel on youtube bigger which she accomplished... she was just very put on which is a turn off!
I really liked Ji-a and Hyeon Jung together though HAHAH. And honestly I kinda enjoy the show too hahahaha because of the commentators mostly. They’re really funny. I really disliked Sehoon as well at first cuz of how he kept pursuing Jiyeon but towards the end he was being really honest about himself and his feelings and he mentioned that he just wanted to have a real talk with Jiyeon, it was really nice of him to do that and in the end I was really happy that Jiyeon finally accepted him XD Also, I agree with the clarification thing but I think most people these days don’t really like that haha, sad but yeah.

I saw this and stopped watching after 20 minutes of the first episode. I think my opinion was influenced by the fact that S. Korea's obsession with beauty that putting these people in one location is just too much. I was just eyerolling. I don't think there will be any PDA because of the culture of Korea in general, so I don't really see the point of this show.
My opinion on the show and the couples. Se-Hoon and Ji-Yeon I feel like was the most scripted relationship like Ji-Yeon disliked Se-Hoon so much it made her so uncomfortable/awkward around him and she change all of a sudden out the blue,someone can change their feelings that fast it’s beyond me. Both were so dramatic/emotional especially when Ji-Yeon started crying at the dinner like girl. I hated at the end when they had to choose and Se-Hoon went up to Min-ji and then went to Ji-Yeon it was so awkward Min-ji ears turned red from embarrassment (100% both went their own ways after the show.) So-Yeon and Jin-Taek I feel like I don’t know what Jin-Taek was doing with that chest hair or who advised him to come on the show looking like that He needs to shave it off it just looked so funny/bad and he had a amazing body but the hair has got to go. I was also shocked when he went to paradise with Ji-Yeon what are these mixed messages/signals. So-Yeon I feel like was really messy when she thought Jin-Taek didn’t like her she went running to Se-Hoon and expressed her feelings and how she was telling Se-Hoon to forget about Ji-Yeon. I feel like So-Yeon felt like if Se-Hoon went with her she would be getting revenge at Jin-Taek and make him feel jealous she wanted to use Se-Hoon as a toy for her own purposes/gain. Jin-Taek looks like the player type (Both probably end up together after the show) Ji-A and Hyun-joong (her puppy) In my opinion JI-A carried the show she just had the most story and drama to watch. She just had this diva,sexy and cute energy which made everyone full in love with her especially her iconic sayings/lines 😂🤣 Her style/makeup she just looked amazing she looked like a barbie doll. I also believe Ji-A didn’t come on the show to find love she came for the fun of it and the experience and she didn’t like any of the guys from the beginning she said it in the first episode when they asked her are any of the guys your type she replied NO I laughed so badly 🤣😅 Hyun-joong was ok but I feel like his the needy type I feel like he just stands there until you do what he says. Overall I feel like Ji-A chose Hyun-joong because she felt bad for him and they spent the most time together. (Their relationship didn’t last after the show.) Ji-A and Si-Hun I feel like si-hun was really boring and he had so many red flags especially when he was following Ji-A around he felt like the stalker type really creepy/scary. To be honest Ji-A shouldn’t have leaded him on if she didn’t like him but then again Ji-A didn’t give him a hint she wasn’t into him. Feel like Si-Hun just wanted a one night stand. The most embarrassing part was at the end when he chose Ji-A like WTF he clearly new she wasn’t going to pick him what was he thinking I think this was scripted also cause he can’t be that stupid like your 30 years old. Walking L for sure Jun-Sik and Yea-Won seriously they chose each other just for the fun of it I can’t see them two being in a relationship. I feel like Jun-Sik only chose Yea-Won was because he felt like she liked him and he only spoke to her the most. So sad wish Yea-Won had more screen time she just feels like the funny type and the person that makes everyone laugh and have a fun time. Overall nothing to say about theses two. (100% both went their own ways after the show probably stayed friends) And for the other contestants I really couldn’t careless I don’t see the point of them being on the show and so overall dramatic especially Min-ji like girl you just been on the show for a day it’s not that deep I feel like this girl really must have liked Se-Hoon noise for her to behave like that 😂🤣😂 Overall the concept of the show was good I wish they had more game/activities and a better male cast hopefully season 2 will be better ✌🏻
Not quite sure about the title sounds very demeaning to men.. You mention how men are just going for looks but then we have a part where Ji-A says she just dated someone because of his veins? Think in this day and age it's very convenient to blame men for anything and everything but it's certainly getting repetitive , tiring and old. I believe looks are really important for some and not for others weighting in at least at 50% or more , it's just biology is it a crime? Anyhow for me, the scariest person in this season was Jiyeon as she looked so innocent but her choices and actions are always so unpredictable and surprisingly Ji-a seems the most loyal sticking to her initial choice at the end.

Leah, you should watch exchange. It’s a Tvn show about exes who are living in one house but is revealed later in the show so no one knows whose exes is who. It’s really exciting to witness their getting to know each other stage and you would be shock on whose exes is who although one is very obvious but others are shocking. This was released way earlier than single’s inferno and was popular in South Korea. It’s kinda like single’s inferno but full of twist and real, at least for me. I would even go as far and assume that the reason why Korean dating shows has become popular is because of this show. I also noticed that there has been an increasing number of dating shows for the later part of last year and i would assume again it’s because of this show. This show is really different from your usual dating shows, it doesn’t have any intimate scenes but they’re also going somewhere. They’re really getting to know each other. You really should watch it.
Prefer exhange over single inferno, it was so exciting to see how the person was trying to hide their feelings when their exes develop new feelings with other persons.
Some of them have not been fully moved on some of them are okay as friends
@@acuyuhan Right? It was very exciting to watch and was very surprising with its twists. You don’t really know what’s gonna happen so it’s very shocking when it does. I never saw the trailer for the next episode so i didn’t really know what’s gonna happen but i was so shocked when it’s time to reveal their exes altogether because i didn’t expect it. They were just told to gather in one place and when they did, they were informed that it’s time for revealing your exes. That’s what i liked the most in the show, i didn’t know what would happen and i’m always surprised. Who were you rooting for? I was rooting for Coco and her ex to get back together.

I just want to clarify that i was rooting for Coco and Minjae to get back together WHILE watching the show. I know that they have already moved on and they didn’t choose each other and i’m fine with that.

Out of the 2 or 3 Single's Inferno reviews I've watched, this one is the best, hands down. All of you gave nuanced opinions across the board (which is rare to come across in reviews where strong/set opinions are taken as more "entertaining" 🤷). Like talking about Sehoon's needing closure and the difficulty Jiyeon would've faced in expressing her true emotions on camera, to JiA's media-trained narrative. LOVE the way Fauzi expresses himself, and Amanda's candid comments on cross-cultural differences.
I didn't watch the show (seems like a try-hard PC whitewashed programme, quite cringe), but am all caught up on the trend liao thanks to you guys. More chats on trending topics like this please 👍
i honestly watched the show and i was like deadass worried for Sehoon. like he gave another girl like false hopes and all (not that its entirely its fault) but uk. its basically a crazy love hexagon in the show anyway. so i just gave up keeping up w its trend so whatever
i really didn't like how soyeon got mad at jintaek for going to paradise on the 2nd day and saying things like "i chose sehoon for paradise because i knew he wouldn't pick me, i wanted to stay in inferno with jintaek" when in reality sehoon WAS her next desired choice... then she tried to flip it again, trying to find a backup by saying that she liked sehoon.. very shady to me
Well jintaek shouldnt have said he wanted to go to paradise only with soyeon. I mean yea sure he was allowed to go with another person to paradise coz they arent a thing yet but all those sweet talk he did to jiyeon? He should just be direct and said he liked someone else or just said he did it for fun and he wasnt tryin to play with soyeon's heart

there are way more interesting korean dating shows other than singles' inferno. heart signal, transit love and love catcher are more interesting to watch. singles' inferno is kinda dry imo but it blew up bc netflix picked it up

I watched the show and it was actually not that bad, my fav female cast was probably jiyeon (appearance) but overall I'll probably choose yeawon (personality) bcoz she seem like a fun person to be with and sehoon was my fav male cast as he's a good model to other guys to not give up when pursuing a girl
Finally some voice of reason. So yeon was the real confident woman who stand up for herself. Jia is an immature young girl trying to manipulate others cuz she doesn't know what she wants

I would suggest you guys to watch Splitsvilla, it's also same like a show where only couple can survive. Tbh it's kind of fun 😂😂 like they argue and fight a lots, very much curse words and games going on. This show don't judge personal appearance but judge their attitudes and i think Splitsvilla is very good compare to infero

i think ji a slowly lost interest in hyun seung cos he wasn't sweet and she likes sweet n sexy guys. HS kept saying don't get tattoos, etc whereas a sweet guy would probably be like, "i'll be attracted to you whether or not you have tattoos".
Ji-ah fake in the show as with real life. Materialistic, greedy and with all the fake goods hahaha. The memes literally write themselves.
singles inferno wasnt a netflix show its originally a jbtc show same channel as brought heart signal... jia doesnt do it for me personally oh youngjoo was from heart signal is more attracting from heart signal... jia was also on another variety cooking show prior.... so she not new to being on tv... besides that i thought she was very transparent n see thru n only brought the show as being a pretty girl who just took it as her own to make her own channel on youtube bigger which she accomplished... she was just very put on which is a turn off!

I really liked Ji-a and Hyeon Jung together though HAHAH. And honestly I kinda enjoy the show too hahahaha because of the commentators mostly. They’re really funny.
I really disliked Sehoon as well at first cuz of how he kept pursuing Jiyeon but towards the end he was being really honest about himself and his feelings and he mentioned that he just wanted to have a real talk with Jiyeon, it was really nice of him to do that and in the end I was really happy that Jiyeon finally accepted him XD
Also, I agree with the clarification thing but I think most people these days don’t really like that haha, sad but yeah.

I saw this and stopped watching after 20 minutes of the first episode. I think my opinion was influenced by the fact that S. Korea's obsession with beauty that putting these people in one location is just too much. I was just eyerolling. I don't think there will be any PDA because of the culture of Korea in general, so I don't really see the point of this show.

My opinion on the show and the couples.
Se-Hoon and Ji-Yeon I feel like was the most scripted relationship like Ji-Yeon disliked Se-Hoon so much it made her so uncomfortable/awkward around him and she change all of a sudden out the blue,someone can change their feelings that fast it’s beyond me. Both were so dramatic/emotional especially when Ji-Yeon started crying at the dinner like girl. I hated at the end when they had to choose and Se-Hoon went up to Min-ji and then went to Ji-Yeon it was so awkward Min-ji ears turned red from embarrassment (100% both went their own ways after the show.)
So-Yeon and Jin-Taek I feel like I don’t know what Jin-Taek was doing with that chest hair or who advised him to come on the show looking like that He needs to shave it off it just looked so funny/bad and he had a amazing body but the hair has got to go. I was also shocked when he went to paradise with Ji-Yeon what are these mixed messages/signals. So-Yeon I feel like was really messy when she thought Jin-Taek didn’t like her she went running to Se-Hoon and expressed her feelings and how she was telling Se-Hoon to forget about Ji-Yeon. I feel like So-Yeon felt like if Se-Hoon went with her she would be getting revenge at Jin-Taek and make him feel jealous she wanted to use Se-Hoon as a toy for her own purposes/gain. Jin-Taek looks like the player type (Both probably end up together after the show)
Ji-A and Hyun-joong (her puppy) In my opinion JI-A carried the show she just had the most story and drama to watch. She just had this diva,sexy and cute energy which made everyone full in love with her especially her iconic sayings/lines 😂🤣 Her style/makeup she just looked amazing she looked like a barbie doll. I also believe Ji-A didn’t come on the show to find love she came for the fun of it and the experience and she didn’t like any of the guys from the beginning she said it in the first episode when they asked her are any of the guys your type she replied NO I laughed so badly 🤣😅 Hyun-joong was ok but I feel like his the needy type I feel like he just stands there until you do what he says. Overall I feel like Ji-A chose Hyun-joong because she felt bad for him and they spent the most time together. (Their relationship didn’t last after the show.)
Ji-A and Si-Hun I feel like si-hun was really boring and he had so many red flags especially when he was following Ji-A around he felt like the stalker type really creepy/scary. To be honest Ji-A shouldn’t have leaded him on if she didn’t like him but then again Ji-A didn’t give him a hint she wasn’t into him. Feel like Si-Hun just wanted a one night stand. The most embarrassing part was at the end when he chose Ji-A like WTF he clearly new she wasn’t going to pick him what was he thinking I think this was scripted also cause he can’t be that stupid like your 30 years old. Walking L for sure
Jun-Sik and Yea-Won seriously they chose each other just for the fun of it I can’t see them two being in a relationship. I feel like Jun-Sik only chose Yea-Won was because he felt like she liked him and he only spoke to her the most. So sad wish Yea-Won had more screen time she just feels like the funny type and the person that makes everyone laugh and have a fun time. Overall nothing to say about theses two. (100% both went their own ways after the show probably stayed friends)
And for the other contestants I really couldn’t careless I don’t see the point of them being on the show and so overall dramatic especially Min-ji like girl you just been on the show for a day it’s not that deep I feel like this girl really must have liked Se-Hoon noise for her to behave like that 😂🤣😂
Overall the concept of the show was good I wish they had more game/activities and a better male cast hopefully season 2 will be better ✌🏻
On another episode, we see Ji-Ah got cancelled by the Koreans and she got dumped by her agency. Sigh
Not quite sure about the title sounds very demeaning to men.. You mention how men are just going for looks but then we have a part where Ji-A says she just dated someone because of his veins? Think in this day and age it's very convenient to blame men for anything and everything but it's certainly getting repetitive , tiring and old. I believe looks are really important for some and not for others weighting in at least at 50% or more , it's just biology is it a crime? Anyhow for me, the scariest person in this season was Jiyeon as she looked so innocent but her choices and actions are always so unpredictable and surprisingly Ji-a seems the most loyal sticking to her initial choice at the end.
If anyone is interested please go watch Love Catcher instead it is so much better than this show.
