Great? It's complete opposite. Some games I looked look at like they are at ultra low resolution. You must be a fanatical supporter. Maybe a Patreon even. I am not saying all of his videos have rubish picture quality , but this one does. In Ghost of Tsushima textures look absolutely atrocious and I faces are a blurry mess.
I have this with the Ryzen 5 7600, it does well enough for these games. I think Dead Space Remake, RE4 Remakes, Evil West, Buldars Gate 3, and a few others are the epitome of good optimization for 1080p gaming. On budget cards like this. I also want to play Witchfire, I like that old school FP Shooter vibe like Blood, Doom, and Painkiller, I wonder when the full game releases? Also I never thought I'd say it's hard to come from 4K on consoles, DOWN to 1080p gaming on PC. HA!! Weird.
Because most games on consoles aren't at 4K. Most are at 1440p or lower. Especially in Performance modes. And settings usually don't match PCs high settings. Especially not when in Performance mode.

Far superior upgrade path since Some Sub 100$ mobos can handle 5800X3D quite well and that usually isn't the case with Intel boards. To match 5800X3D on Intel side, you would need to go with 13700K which is very demanding CPU. It gets quite hot , whereas 5800X3D usually does not and they trade blows in gaming. Ultra cheap Intel boards usually aren't most ideal for CPUs like 13700K. For new builders though, 5800X3D is too expensive these days,but 5700X3D is priced fairly. Like 5 and 2 months ago,the 5600 and 12400F are very similary priced these in September as well.
I see you also getting 70+ degrees under load. Some people have about 50-65. Any idea why? My entire case is filled with be quiet fans, but this does not help. I tried undervolt and custom curve but it didn't help much. Did I get a bad quality GPU?
Yeah I have the XFX version of this card, it runs cool, but it's loud. That's the price you pay for cheapness. But It doesn't bother me, I have a Series X/PS5 and Steam Deck for everything else. I'm a casual PC gamer.

It also depend on what kind of case do you have, the overal csse's cooling situation AND on the distance from the PC. It's not the same if it's 60cm , 2 meters or 3 metters.

Are you into Raytracing much? - 4060 DLSS Upscaling is superior to FSR. - 4060 Reflex tech lowers latency in games. - 4060 Remix is fantastic for moders. - 4060 Nvenc is great for streaming and content creation. - 4060 Need GPU for Artificial Inteligence development? - 4060 Need Tensor cores? - 4060 Need CUDA cores? - 4060 If those don't matter features don't matter to you 7600 might be better value for money. Find several benchmark comparisons if possible and then decide. 4060 might be a bit stronger, but not by much. IF you can pay RTX4060 , you might be able to pay RX6750XT which in gaming when RT is not used crushes RTX4060 . Edit: I just checked prices, the difference between RX7600 and RTX4060 is just 25$. Perhaps even lower. It used to be 50. Yeah at 25$ difference , I would go with RTX4060 between those 2. Some models of RX6750XT are 299$. Possibly less. And it comes with 12GB VRAM. Very usefull long term . Especially at 1440p or 4K. It's not considered 4K card in PC gaming comunity, but it's approximately 25% more powerfull then consoles.
No they don't don't fall the marketing CPU and GPU are completely different it work the same or similar performance regardless if it's an intel or AMD CPU you have as long as the GPU won't be held back by a weaker CPU it all depends what you looking for and preference and budget the only difference is that AMD builds CPU AND GPU are cheaper compare to something like intel and Nvida for example in amd build you get a respectable perfomance pc for $1000 while intel and nvida you would have to spent something $1500 that's a whole $500 extra for basically the same performance

Those that may have avoided its pre-release hypetrain and went into the game without good or bad expectations and prefer to draw their own conclusions might actually enjoy it to some extent.

70 degrees is okay under load dw about it, probably just different card manufacturers have better cooling
