ECW got away with it because for most of their run, Hardcore TV aired at like 2 am on some shitty Philadelphia Local Sports station that played throughout Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, And Florida (for some reason). They only got in shit when they got on TNN right before they died.
ECW got away with it because they used covers. It wasn’t Pantera or Metallica. It was a no name band looking for exposure. Except Motörhead that didn’t give AF.

Wish they would use his original song that he used on the indy’s. “Jane” by Jefferson Starship! Always thought it was perfect for him.
TK did try to get the rights to that, but the rights holders never got back to him about it, so he opted for The Pixies instead. I'd actually argue this fits his character better.

Yeah due to copyright and licensing as the band who made this song (Pretty sure The Pixies) are owed compensation if its used by other people.
