I get many questions from surveyors and non surveyors alike about occupying control points (benchmarks) with the Emlid RS2 or RS3 and using the Emlid Caster Service. It is very simple to occupy control using points from any CRS (coordinate reference system) by importing those points into the Emlid Flow App. Once one site, you can then occupy that point and specify the coordinates by picking the point from you project. I walk you step by step and explain a few other things along the way.
With the free Emlid Caster Service you can have multiple base units and each base unit can have up to 10 Rovers connected to it via online NTRIP RTK corrections. The Emlid Flow App makes occupying a control point and assuming the local coordinates of that control a piece of cake!
If you have questions on the different ways that the Emlid RS2+ or RS3 can handle RTK then see the following tutorial.

Hey man! Great Video! I have a small engineering firm in North GA and just bought the Emlid Reach RS3 and I also have a DJI Phantom 4 pro. Would love to see a complete video where you fly the drone, capture the data, and put into a usable format. I've use drone deploy in the past and it was pretty cool. Excited to get going with this, Tha KS for the videos

And thanks again Tim I spent hours figuring this out myself when I got my Emlid. This would have saved me a lot of headache I hope it helps some others from the frustration I felt.

Thanks Tim, this was very helpful! I have a mentor helping me to learn photogrammetry and LiDar, and he let me borrow his Emlid RS2's and M3E. These videos are excellent for me just starting out in the field. I love these Emlids, and I can't wait to buy them for myself! Now I just need the P1 for my M350 and I'll be picking up a lot of work😁
