I don't think he gave it to the wrong player, I think he sent off Mihajlovic deliberately- for dissent. The player first kicked the ball at the referee (narrowly missed him) and then mouthed off at him. I think it was a correct penalty decision too; Inzaghi dived a bit to make it clear to the referee that he was being shoved, but he was nonetheless being genuinely fouled I think.
@@danyoutube7491 Inzaghi is pure class.. but that was no little dive.. he jumped sideways spinning and throwing his legs high in the air! That ref (Salvatore Racalbuto) was judged guilty for match fixing and deciding the fate of many teams results including championships
@@djfunkychicken Oh, I didn't know that about the ref! But it did seem to me that the defender was shoving him in the ribs, with a partially extended arm. It's technically fouling, though Inzaghi was partly doing the same to him in return.
