LYRICS
Hey there lonely one
Did you think you’d die alone?
I don’t think you want to know
Hey there lonely one
When you try to leave the world this way
You’re not the only one that goes
But you say so long
‘Cause you’re too far gone to waste away
Long enough to call home
Stealing life’s a way to go alone
Stealing life’s a way to move along
‘Cause you’re too far gone
You wont be there to help us carry on
Bye Bye lonely one
What was it that you wanted to say?
You’ve gone and thrown your life away
And now the lonely one
I wish he’d read the notes inside his head
But I don’t think I’d want to know
But you say so long
‘Cause you’re too far gone to waste away
Long enough to call home
Stealing life’s a way to go alone
Stealing life’s a way to move along
‘Cause you’re too far gone
You wont be there to help us carry on
Bye Bye lonely one
What was it that you wanted to say
Waste away
Long enough to call home
Stealing life’s a way to carry on
Stealing life’s a way to go alone
Stealing life’s a way to move along
‘Cause you’re too far gone
You wont be there to help us carry on
To help us carry on
To help us carry on
To help us carry on
You are too far-gone to help us carry on Видеоклипы
There's something special about this band, that isn't found in a lot of bands every generation. It's hard to pin-point what that is, but my best attempt to explain it is by saying that the way their melodies are sung as harmonies make it so aesthetically pleasing. I consider Mike to have one of the best voices to grace music since Myles Kennedy, but just like how Myles has Mark Tremonti for back-up vocals in Alter Bridge, when Dave & Ricky join Mike, it just takes the song(s) to another level. Love this song, *love the album* and can't wait to see if I can see these guys live soon! Keep strong, boys!
I agree, last year it was Amnesia. This year I fell in love with Deathwish after 1 listen. This band has a haunting melodic sound not found in most modern rock bands.
The song 100x better in concert. They got a unique voice. sometimes the lyrics remind me of through the fire and the flames. Their guitar work I can't pinpoint it sounds like I've heard it before and the same time I haven't.
Yes, there is something that makes their songs seem like a taste of days gone by that's quite satisfying!
A quarter of the way through 2018. The music community has another 9 months to magically somehow top a song like this.
The whole album I believe will be my favorite of the year, but I could be wrong.
jc1424 this is as good or better than a Beatles album... Mike Dave Ricky Ryan and Pat will be household names in my vision the Parkway Drive Friday will have my attention until I learn it then I use Thread to come down with.
2020 and the music community has yet to top this song
@@cameronjustis3836 well tbh there are many songs I love more than this one that have come out in the past two years

Remember me Beatles!
ดัจญาล กินแสง อท.
This is inspired by Chris Cornell's death?
Cassie Griffin just found this interview with him!
Q. "Stealing Life" also builds really nicely and turns out quite anthemic.
A. "That's another one that's personal to me. It's a little darker even still. I've been affected with suicide throughout my life. Two of my close friends have committed suicide. Also most recently, one of my biggest influences in music was Chris Cornell. That was one of the first times an artist passed away where I was like, 'This is really tough.' That came right in the midst of writing for this record, and I also tried to think about the friends that I've lost. The song is really about what was going on in their head, and if you would you really want to know what's going on in their head? For the music, we wanted to give it a Beatles-esque vibe."
@@teslyncampbell8239 Thank you for sharing this with us, I'm sorry for your loss's, truly I am. And let me just add I did kinda get that feeling of 'Beatles-esque vibe', but then on the other hand, I have never liked comparing bands to eachother or labeling for example, I have no musical talent at all, so I really appreciate the talent and everything thats involved musically. I have to say I'm crushed about the band calling it quits too, makes me even waaay beyond sad af bc when they came through on tour I couldnt afford to see them, and well, you know. . . . huge bummer. I am however following them on Ig!!!! 🖤🖤🤘🤘
Has anyone noticed the snippets of distorted phone calls or something at the end of some of the songs?
Oh shit I just relistened to it and I heard it!
