So much inspiration and amazing to see the positivity you showed throughout such a life changing experience. You're spreading what the world needs more of. God Bless. Thank you Scotty
Let’s be real if it wasn’t for his channel Monster woulda dropped him like they did any other of their athletes who got injured and don’t benefit them anymore.
Fuck off Scotty making a bloody 31 year old man cry in his bedroom haha Grew up watching you ride, and have followed your youtube since day one. You're story, persistance and outlook on life is amazing. Road to the backflip for the 10 year mark you got this!
Been waiting for that backflip and for him to mention it again. I remember several years ago he said he wanted to send it one day but at this point idk if it's still in the cards. He's gained a lot of weight and his progress when it comes to mobility hasn't seemed to improve over the past few years.
Props to MONSTER ENERGY for supporting this BMX ICON through his injury...They could of easily chose not to. Thank you for your videos Scotty... PEACE!!!
Had a ton of respect for Scotty’s riding before the wreck but his content now and just overall positivity with trying to make everyone around succeed shows how special of a person Scotty is. As a fellow person with a spinal cord injury, I was horrified to hear about his crash and have religiously watched every single video since then. Scotty is truly a phenomenal human and is just such a nice, caring person ❤
Ive always been a big fan of Scotty but to see the absolute substance in his character since his accident is breathtaking. I always have to choke back tears when i see him talking about how it changed his life. My biggest inspiration. We love you Scotty ❤
I regularly watch Scotty's channel, and i am inspired so much i bought a bmx bike at the age of 65,i would be happy just to be in the same room as this man, what an inspiration to so many.Thank You Scott😊
Scotty is an amazing man! We share the same brain injury date 5 years apart…I found Scotty and his channel through my injury and he was such an inspiration when I was recovering…I’ve been lucky to have a near full recovery…thank you for everything Scotty! ❤
Watched him years before his accident , he was the best rider at the park every challenge hed do with ease , his comeback has been amazing so proud of him!
I'm 52 and was there when BMX first emerged in the 80s and have loved the life style ever since, I have been ill for awhile now but your videos have helped me to remember those days when we were learning the bunny hop and making our own jumps and doing a pancake was a big thing can't believe how it has evolved. There were no computers back then we lived outside and rode all the time. Thank you Scotty because i have learnt so much about BMX and the new riders and tricks from your RUclips channel.
I was released from prison in 2022 after serving 5 years. Scotty's channel has single handedly brought the bond back between my son & I, which keeps me focused on my sobriety. He's your favorite riders favorite rider for a reason. Legend.
I've had the pleasure of meeting Scotty a few times pre-accident, and twice post accident. I have to say - while it sucks horribly that he has gone through what he has, post-accident Scotty is still doing amazing things for BMX. He is so kind and genuine when you meet him. If you get the chance - hug this legend's neck and tell him how much you appreciate him for not letting this accident put him in a hole like it would have for so many of us.
I watched scotty as a kid. Remembered him as an adult. Found his channel. Watched him for years. Every video, multiple times. I MTB but everything i know about BMX is thanks to Scott
Scotty inspires me everyday I got really sick for 2 years from covid could barely breathe walk talk or ride a bike 2 years later I'm still sick but my sister just picked up a BMX bike for me I'm finally able to ride it again the best feeling ever it needs work but im just happy to be rolling again 🤘💯
Scotty's channel is a great watch still. He pumps out great content showcasing lesser known riders, covering big competitions, Challenging riders to do whacky tasks and games, showing his continued progression in recovery and also highlighting his Brother Matty who is also an excellent BMX rider in several disciplines. The one thing I felt was missing from this short documentary is his brother Matty. The two are an incredible team and make for the most supportive pair of brothers I have ever seen. If you aren't watching the Scotty Cranmer channel you are missing out. Well worth a sub and also keeping up with the many and varied videos he uploads on a regular basis.
The amount of inspiration and motivation Scotty gave me is insane. So many times I've hit a wall in my life where I just wanted to give up, but then remembered "If Scotty was able to go from paralyzed to being able to ride better than 99% of people I know, I am fucking doing this whatever it costs." Big ups to Scotty and also his sponsors who stuck with him!
I was watching Scotty go through his accident while I was going through 3 years of lymphedema that nearly took both legs and now I'm actually back riding again, not anywhere near the level I was but I'm just glad to be able to walk again.... Also having Scotty still involved in BMX is a dream come true. He may not be riding in the contests like he was but having him commenting/narrating runs is awesome because he actually knows all the tricks and how hard they are so his commentary is vital to BMX riders, especially those who are learning specific tricks.... That's like the perfect job for anyone who got injured period, I'd love to have Tony Hawk doing commentary on skateboarding contests and I wish Dave Mirra would still be around running a park and teaching kids to ride BMX or doing commentary on BMX events. Keep up the great work Scotty, you're proving to the world that just because someone is down, does not mean they are out permanently.... 😁👍❤️
You guys did such a great job, not just on the video, and the editing and production, but through the whole experience, being there for scotty shows that you guys really care and your riders are much more than a product so props to everyone at monster energy.
As a fellow spinal cord injury survivor I get what Scotty has gone through as been dealing with it myself for decades now. I unfortunately didn't have the help or support and it ruined my life so hats off to yall at Monster® for continuing your support of a BMX legend as you easily could've walked away like my sponsors did immediately.
I’ve watched Scotty before and after. This is a superstar of bmx. He’s an inspiration and a legend. Scotty all love. And Matt too and Corey and dom and Brooklyn. You got great people around you. Your wife too.
Hell yeah Scotty. I was there before your accident and now after your accident. I didn't go anywhere. I prayed every single day for you to get back on your feet and riding again. And look at you no. Your back on your feet and riding not like before but damnit you're riding. Your an inspiration to everyone who loves and is paralyzed to never let them tell you you can't. Bc that's what they did to you and you said I can and I will. Mad respect and love to you and your family.
I broke my back and was millimetres away from a completely severing my spinal cord. I was already a big fan of Scotty and his channel at that point but Scotty you and your recovery videos got me through laying in that hospital bed and my own recovery. I figured I’m not nearly as hurt as Scotty and if he can ride again I can beat this too. 2 months after my surgery and my 2 rods and 10 screws I was able to get back on my bike and ride it around the block. Thank you for being such an inspiration. You have touched more people’s lives than you ever will know! Absolute legend
As part of the 80s Generation/First Generation BMX rider of Jamaica, at mid fifty years old, with old man restrictions for riding since around six years ago, Scotty is an inspiration... I see his ongoing passion and influence in BMX, and acceptance of what is, via his journey. This is admirably humbling.
Thank you Scotty I was at the UGP roots jam I believe was one of your first contest we are almost same age I remember thinking you wasn’t real it was like you could land anything you tried ever since I’ve followed your career/ journey I don’t watch much RUclips but I don’t miss any of your vids and I still ride to this day thanks to you
Scotty is one of the greatest riders in the world, no matter what anyone says. I first saw on Eurosport what Scotty could do on the bike. From then on, his name became synonymous with BMX for me. His story is very inspiring and I can only wish him all the best. He is a true Monster Army. Thank you @ScottyCranmer !
I luckily found his channel at the beginning and I remember the day he let everyone know about the accident. It felt like one of my best friends got hurt, I was bummed for him and couldn't watch a lot of the first recovery videos, I will go back and watch them one day but I've been hurt to many times from bikes and I don't like it. Super proud of this guy for what he's been able to accomplish in his young life.
Thank's for everything you have done and continue to do for the BMX world. Your channel has got me back into following BMX, the sport I loved so much when I was growing up. Your channel has helped me with my own struggles in life. I'm based in the UK, but I hope to make it to the USA again and check out some Supercross races, if I see you there, ill definitely be saying hello and thanking you in person. Keep up the good work Scotty!
Scott is an incredible human, he will never know how much he's given me inspiration and power to push through and want to still be alive. Watching him still live his life after going through his accident is truly the most inspiring story
I remember this day so vividly. My world was rocked, my idol having such a life changing injury.. shit sucked so bad but I’m glad you’ve healed and all your fans have. Happy you’re alive and with us. You’re still the voice of bmx in my book. And Matty rides in your stead
Thank you Monster for sticking with Scotty through thick and thin. Not just monster but all his loyal sponsors. They got a lot of my money thanks to Scotty.
Scotty is a huge inspiration, not only in the BMX world but in life in general, to never give up no matter what. To this day, I still feel so bad for what Bigboy had to have seen. Seeing your best friend go through something traumatic has to hurt your mental a lot.
Been a huge Scotty fan since his Sentenced to Life section. I think it was that and then those short Felt edits he'd drop just ridiculous stuff in them, then the Rock N Roll Road Fools DVDs. Probably the most talented person to touch a bike, was leagues ahead of the time with his bike control. Could do it all and make it look good. Was absolutely devastating when we almost lost Dave and Scotty in the same year. Just glad to see he's doing well and props to his sponsors for sticking by him.
Scotty is such an inspiration to the sport and the community. I remember still finding his videos before the accident. And it’s such a stepping stone. Anytime he releases a video of him riding I’m watching it cause it’s a milestone and this man pushes the limits every time he gets on that bike. Scotty Cranmer you are an inspiration to the sport but also the people. And for that we are all truly greatful
still hard for me to believe, even after all this time.. when I watch Scotty's new uploads I still think about the old days. Props to Monster Energy and Vans for sticking with him, and allowing him to be involved in the sport
If you care to pause at exactly 1:39 you can see a man who is astounded by the sheer acceptance of what he has just accomplished. Just go back 10 seconds and put it on 0.5x - you can actually watch it sink in. Scotty is one of the G.O.A.Ts. 🤘
ive never met scotty but i have always been a bmx fan. When i found his channel it was 1 month old. I watched everyday an was hooked. the whole crew are amazing. when the accident happened and i found out in an article online i cried my eyes out! One of if not the most positive and amazing individuals. Truly inspirational
Scotty is a tru hero before and after his accident, spreding his storys and knowledge . Great job Moster energey for sticking with Scotty in the good times and bad .Scotty Cranmer CANT SLOW DOWN!
I started watching your channel scotty when you had all your bulldogs and you did a day in the life video with them and I have never stopped watching since then. You are an amazing ambassador for bmx and have come along way in your journey thats for sure.
I truly wished more people understood how crazy this sport is. Its not like football or basketball where you are just a specimen who gets hit or puts balls in holes.. but that these athletes really are putting their lives on the line for these tricks. Where just the littlest missed thing can change your life forever. Shout out scotty, Maddog, and Mike Attkins just to name a couple. Truly under rated but i guess thats what makes these sports so much better. We are the underdogs. Much love from a skater ya pedal pushers lol
I’ve followed your biking since before the accident. You’re a huge inspiration for me thanks for all your hard work and follow up videos over the years
Scotty is the best. He's the only reason I still own a bmx bike. I thought my riding days were over 14 years ago because of a back injury and some other issues that have effected my balance.. bought a bike again 6 years ago.. I'm not as good as I was, and I'm definitely more careful than I was before, but I still get on and ride sometimes because of Scotty..
Seeing the last part about the guy having an injury about the same time. Me too. No where as serious, but airlifted with head injuries. Finding Scotty's channel sure helped me get back to reality and back on my bike.
Those early years he was in the X games were always wild, that's whn I found scotty and he became my favorite rider. Then finding his RUclips when it was made I couldn't believe you could see his riding damn near every day. I just always wished things would've gotten better with big boy.
Absolutely love what you have accomplished, Scotty. All the awards / event wins and all that are fantastic, but, your recovery really is the best accomplishment of your life. Continued success, my friend. Can't Slow Down !!!
Scotty is such a legend. I had brain surgery and brain cancer at the same time as his accident. Watching him be so positive and motivated thru everything was inspirational.
you, Scotty are the first person that comes to mind when i'm asked about monster sponsored riders. then there's (was) Sam Pilgrim, there's so many fantastic and influential riders out there, champions of the world and gold medalists of the biggest events, but you're THE man and monster made the best decision by sticking to you, just like vans did
Thank you all for the continued support over the years. I am so grateful to still have a place in BMX and it truly is because of all of you!
So much inspiration and amazing to see the positivity you showed throughout such a life changing experience. You're spreading what the world needs more of. God Bless. Thank you Scotty
You are BMX🫡
Inspired so many people over the years, from all backgrounds and from all over the world. Thank you Scotty!
#standwithscotty
Shout out to Monster for sticking by Scotty.
So true Monster and Vans did so much.
🤘🤘 mad respect
Let’s be real if it wasn’t for his channel Monster woulda dropped him like they did any other of their athletes who got injured and don’t benefit them anymore.
Monster Energy and Vans are great companies for sticking with Scotty. He is an ambassador of the sport.
Hey Monster Energy Drinks: *PETITION FOR SCOTTY TO BE THE OFFICIAL AMBASSADOR TO BMX* You have that power.
Fuck off Scotty making a bloody 31 year old man cry in his bedroom haha Grew up watching you ride, and have followed your youtube since day one. You're story, persistance and outlook on life is amazing. Road to the backflip for the 10 year mark you got this!
Lol so true bro. I'm not 31 I'm 43 but your words rang true with me😂
Been waiting for that backflip and for him to mention it again. I remember several years ago he said he wanted to send it one day but at this point idk if it's still in the cards. He's gained a lot of weight and his progress when it comes to mobility hasn't seemed to improve over the past few years.
I’m 50 and I shed a couple lol
50 years old and crying like a baby! 😂@@scottbradford4130
54 year old man here.. Someone started cutting onions without telling me...
Big up Monster energy for standing by Scott 🙏🏻 not many people get to become a bmx legend TWICE in one lifetime
monster should've checked the spot before he did the trick in my opinion . this is so sad
Scotty will go down as one of the biggest BMX legends whose life path will never be forgotten.
Props to MONSTER ENERGY for supporting this BMX ICON through his injury...They could of easily chose not to. Thank you for your videos Scotty... PEACE!!!

Riding at 65.. You're a bad dude for sure.
I saw this video for the 1st time about 4 years ago at hospital after a stroke....now I'm a bmx rider.
I remember when I was a kid watching all his videos bmxing , then boom. Man I've been there all through his pain 😢
Scotty is a hero of mine. Always looked up to the guy.
Scotty's positive outlook through out all of this is truly inspirational. Huge props to Monster for sticking by this man!
The most inspirational person in bmx.
Scotty is an amazing man! We share the same brain injury date 5 years apart…I found Scotty and his channel through my injury and he was such an inspiration when I was recovering…I’ve been lucky to have a near full recovery…thank you for everything Scotty! ❤
So much has changed from that moment..... but the love for BMX has only grown. Keep going Scotty!!!!!
Shine the light on that man! Legend
Watched him years before his accident , he was the best rider at the park every challenge hed do with ease , his comeback has been amazing so proud of him!
Thank you Scotty for inspiring me to do bmx full time I started from racing when me and my dad watched ur videos every week and now I do freestyle
One of the reasons I like monster energy as a company, they stuck by him after the accident and didn’t just pull the plug as a sponsor.
I'm 52 and was there when BMX first emerged in the 80s and have loved the life style ever since, I have been ill for awhile now but your videos have helped me to remember those days when we were learning the bunny hop and making our own jumps and doing a pancake was a big thing can't believe how it has evolved. By far favorite bmx althete! Insane to see how far he has come since his accident.
I was released from prison in 2022 after serving 5 years. Scotty's channel has single handedly brought the bond back between my son & I, which keeps me focused on my sobriety. He's your favorite riders favorite rider for a reason. Legend.
The community love you so much Scotty, thank you for being you
That is the Man right there! Scotty is an absolute legend before and after the crash✊🏼
scotty is the one that got me into bmx he was then and still is now one of my all time favorite riders. thank you scott!

Monster and vans are cool companies; they don’t forget about the legends.
Definitely a massive inspiration! I know I’m inspired by you! Every day is a blessing! Keep rockin it!

Salute to Scotty. BMX legend to so many.
I love this, thanks for this been a fam of Scotty a long time. Big shouts to vans and monster for seeing what we all see in Scotty.

The hardest there was and is. Thanks for inspiring Bmx scotty!
Such an inspiring story that is still being written. You are a legend Scotty!

Damn. Love you Scotty, I'll never forget watching you abubaca front flip, it was an inconceivable trick.
Scotty is a tru hero before and after his accident, spreding his storys and knowledge . Great job Moster energey for sticking with Scotty in the good times and bad .Scotty Cranmer CANT SLOW DOWN!

It's so horrible how something like this can happen but Scotty made it beautiful just like his riding. A living legend were all thankful for❤

Incredible. I remember when the injury happened. Seeing scotty at this point is awesome. S/o to the companies that stuck with him !
Scotty is the man. Legendary skills legendary heart. All the best to you.
Absolutely love what you have accomplished, Scotty. All the awards / event wins and all that are fantastic, but, your recovery really is the best accomplishment of your life. Continued success, my friend. Can't Slow Down !!!
we all will always love you @ScottyCranmer you will always be the goat of the bmx scene.
Scotty is such a legend. I had brain surgery and brain cancer at the same time as his accident. Watching him be so positive and motivated thru everything was inspirational.
you, Scotty are the first person that comes to mind when i'm asked about monster sponsored riders. then there's (was) Sam Pilgrim, there's so many fantastic and influential riders out there, champions of the world and gold medalists of the biggest events, but you're THE man and monster made the best decision by sticking to you, just like vans did
Props to monster for keeping scotty on and not giving up on him. Thats huge of you guys
Scotty is such a major inspiration to bmx and to mankind. Thanks, Monster, for creating this video.
