Its funny how inconsistent the Speedsters are. Here A-Train is boosted as hell to 371m/s, but thats actually kinda slow compared to how he sometimes acts as if time around him is standing still.
It's hard to scale speedsters consistently and make them interesting and not so op at the same time, it's to put limits on them so that they can't just solo everything like a realistic with nonrealistic type deal but what ur saying is true.
My guess is that A train needs much longer to properly accelerate since the announcer said that he can run 1000mph so yeah I think A train is just better at running long distances.

Shockwave would've won the race, A-Train had to cheat using compound V to maintain an advantage and Shockwave was still tailgating him with just raw speed.

Because of the way tracks are built, outer lanes have to cover slightly more distance than inner rings for full laps (turns are longer on the outside). It’s for this reason you’ll see racers on outer lanes of a track start slightly ahead in real life.

They should’ve had a formula 1 style race with 100+ laps considering how the racers move at 4x the speed of a race car and the track is like 1/10th of a racecar track. A train and shockwave could clear 100 laps on a normal track in 3 minutes
