      It is extremely difficult for some people. Here’s what I’m doing.
      1. Break your run into different parts or checkpointsTime yourself till each part by a simple glance at your watch while continuing to run.
      DONT run daily.
      Whenever you are adequately rested go for a run and try beating the first checkpoint time. It’ll automatically boost your excitement and you might finish a few seconds earlier. Even if you don’t finish one checkpoint, aim at the next one so that you have something to look forward to.
      2. Don’t let your mind take over the first few minutes. Keep telling yourself you’re comfortable.

    Ok so I'm a weird middle schooler who is obsessed with the swat and when I get older I really want to be in the ERT(emergency response team), but you have to do like a bazillion different things and trainings tasks to get in. You have to become a police officer and stay in that rank for like 2 years, not to mention that you also have to over go a LoOOOoOoOT of training too just to get into the police, after you are done the police thingy then you have to do like WaAAaaAAaAaaAaAaAAay more training when you go into like the start of it, THeN to get into the screening test, you gotta do like 60 sit ups in 1 minute, 60 push ups in I forget how many minutes, also you have to run 1.5 miles in ten minutes!(you have to do way more than that on the training thing) how am I ever gonna do this! Then I see this legend and I am now wondering how in the whole world did he do that. 😳

      Training. Start little by little. You can get into swat someday. Training does not limit to fitness, also knowledge. There are many videos and trainers around about how to teach you all of this. You have time, fuel some gas and get into it. Good luck

      If that is your time on a track try running off track for a month on roads that gradually incline and decline for 2 to 2.5 miles every other day ( NO TREAD MILL RUNNING ) and while your running try not to stop just keep moving and try to beat your time from the last run every time even if its only by 10 sec. This will build up your running stamina and for sure bring down your time the next time you run on a track (Speaking from my personal experience) . I hope this helps

  • @NickeyNicole21
    @NickeyNicole21 4 месяца назад

    So a 1.5 is 6 laps around the track ? Congrats 🎉 I’m trying to get like this. When you breathe is it in through your nose out through your mouth ? Or you keep your mouth closed ?

    • @Thenareshm
      @Thenareshm 4 месяца назад

      The optimum way to breath is inhale through nose , exhale through mouth for running at that pace.
