I love the brioche dough, super easy to make. The cream however came out lumpy; so I used egg yolks only and it came out much creamier.

These came out sooo goooddd!! But I’m not getting that perfect ring around the donut. Are there any tips of tricks to achieve that?
The best advice I can give is to shape them as evenly as possible and leave them to proof for long enough (until doubled in size).

Donuts using T45 flour and my goodness the results are amazing
I just had to adjust the amount of water used T45 needs less water

No! Sorry corn flour won't work in this recipe, but you can replace corn starch with all-purpose flour.

i want to cook the donuts same day, how long should i do the first proof?
Proof the dough at room temperature for about 11/2 -2 hours or until the dough is doubled in size. Then place the dough in a fridge for 1/2-1 hour to firm up for easier handling.

It tastes just like vanilla cream or custard. You can fill the doughnuts with jam or Nutella too.
It tasted eggy to me. It was noooot vanilla creamy. I just made them.
Add vanilla essence 1 tsp to it
Definitely had slightly eggy taste. If you don't enjoy that go for a different custard recipe!

Unfortunately no, this dough is too soft for cutter :)

No, you can leave the rum out. Rum is just for flavor. Beer or sprite won't work.
