@@rafendenI wondered the same. If you have it in a car it would be awesome to charge batteries so when you stop for longer time, batteries can take over. Also it could serve as backup charger for other tools. Now you need to bring extra charger, and fiddle with batteries in and out, what a joke.
Yeh .. 2x 8Ah 40V's are a bit of a sting to keep that slice of pavlova cold all day! :O Actually I'm glad 2x 5Ah's will see a normal day out, otherwise I'd probably be buying a monster bundle. As it was I got the 270mm saw "kit" because it came with 2x 5Ah batteries :) I have to say though this 29l is the perfect size, the 50l is way too bulky and the small one is really only good for solo affairs. Plus this now one with dual zones is really clever.
Curious ... does it recharge the batteries when you plug it into a mains connection? or does the main connect just run the unit?
It does't charge the batteries.

What a monster, when it comes to kitchen-ish appliances makita knows what they're doing, if you have proper money to spare of course.
If you plug it in the wall can it also charge the battery's?
Love ya work Tim but you're costing me a fortune!!😂
