@insense ??? This seems like a very negative comment. English literature refers to literature WRITTEN in the language of English, which American books are. Hence why of mice and men and other novels are often read within them. Even if you’re talking about CLASSICAL English literature
Italian, Greek and American books are all accepted in the canon

One cool thing about East of Eden is the allusion of good and evil with names! All “A” names were examples of good and “C” names were examples of evil. Every single time 1984 is mentioned on this channel, Jack tells us it was the book that made him want to study English literature...and I'm totally here for it.

I think Emma's taste comes from her father.. he is the one who has leads her in a very good path imo.

Honestly, maybe because I'm like 13 years her senior, but I had *no* idea who Emma Chamberlain was. I came to know about her through the Met Gala and LOVED her interaction with Hailey Baldwin. I tried watching her vids yet couldn't find them relatable, or intriguing, but she's adorable.

i've often felt like a book's density (weight to page count ratio) is a good signal of its quality. wanna test that by reading the heaviest books on your to-read shelf?
