If we think about an atom and its constituent parts, I gaim the impression that within the atom, there is a lot of empty space, so if we brought in different frequencies, might it be possible for different dimensions, or even universes, each operating on on different frequencies to occupy the same apparent space at the same time?
It's because smaller particles are closer together which makes it more difficult to bend space time. When space becomes limited the force necessary to bend spacetime increases just like anything else that is a fabric. So gravity is weaker between objects with barely any space between them. I don't think it's because of dilution from other dimensions. I think it's impressive that subatomic matter can cause any ripples at all. Perhaps the expansion makes it more pliable over time.

If space is warping, it must be warping into another dimension. It's like the way the surface of the Earth warps into a third dimension so ships seem to sink below the horizon. The evolution of the whole concept of gravity as warping of spacetime was very involved with mathematical speculation about higher dimensional geometry. But most of the warping that occurs seems to be time. Could it be that rather than extra spatial dimensions, there's an extra dimension of time, and space remains flat?

If matter warps space, HOW can I conceptualize warping of space in 3 dimensions? Space must be more like a fluid/ether and I would think that even a "depression" in a fluid would not have wide ranging affect on distance objects? It doesn't make sense to me either. It seems like a lazy way of ending things to just hand wave and say space warps. It's like saying the number line warps. Dimensions are just about the way thing relate to each other quantitatively. If something is warping, it's the things. More is going on here and just ending at "space warps" can't be right. When space becomes limited the force necessary to bend spacetime increases just like anything else that is a fabric. So gravity is weaker between objects with barely any space between them.
