Wow! The version is wonderful! Who knew that the song writer, Mark London was from Montreal and that this song was finally induced into the Canadian Songwriting Hall of Fame in 2015! For those interested, the original singer, Lulu, has just been signed to a new recording contract in 2015, so she still has chops too!

I remember back in the day. Metro studios was producing many artists and getting local people into the national music exposure. Tommy Tucker jr. was a friend of mine. His dad was Tom Tucker sr. I met Chris Sims there and he suggested I do a version of a LULU song. To sir with love became a killer song for my own repertoire. It is great to see younger people cover these old school songs. This is a fabulous rendition of a great song. This young woman had an excellent voice and very good interpretive skills. This song needs to be sung with soul. I would say that Lulu puts a tad more soul into it (at least, she did when she was young), but Nikki Yanofsky comes very close.
