Sheer perfection. Every time I listen to this song, I think about the trips I take to Upstate New York and Vermont. The lyrics are bright, insightful, and loving. Simply inspired.

Truely a wonderful introspective singer. Saw Anne many years ago now in various concerts when she was touring in the area where I live.
Have many of her albums and it is a joy to hear her sing.

Few people sing with more nostalgic heartfelt emotion than Anne Hills. Beautiful and deeply evocative. Thanks for posting this,

A song so beautifully sung and the lyrics so brilliantly weave a story of a time when life seemed much simpler. Memories of carefree childhood days in the late 60's, fun summers at drive-in movies, vacations to North Carolina visiting grandparents on the farm, gathering eggs from the chicken coop, picking grapes from the vineyard. Anne Hills' style is very much like Mary Chapin Carpenter. I love you both for stirring emotions that bring back my fondest childhood memories!! ☺️💕👏💯

One of my all time favorite songs. Whenever I hear it I'm reminded of our 2 trips to visit a friend in Vermont.

I suggest anyone who likes Anne Hills find her great song "My daughter and Vincent Van Gogh."...I sent "Follow that Road" to a woman who moved away more than 30 years ago. I miss her, still. She doesn't know how much, and that's my fault.
