Saturday Afternoon park experience: a noticeable lack of shinies, Verizon players didn’t have service in the north side (better side) of the park for half the event, and to go back to the south side you had to leave the park and walk a huge loop around. Playing in the city was a much better experience, with seemingly 3 times as many shinies.
It was cool to see you guys (from a distance) at the park. We saw most of the big PoGo RUclipsrs, and you guys all seem to be so nice and patient when meeting fans. 🎉

It was kinda underwhelming. The city experience was really good, but I know no one really wants to walk around the NYC streets. I mean the death/injure count is ridiculous in NYC. The park was cool, but not nearly as big as I expected. The raids were clumped into two big groups, each on the other sides of the park, and there was a single path in-between north and south. Overall I only ever got 17 shinies (one of them being legendary) and it wasn't as good as I hoped.
Great video, your luck is incredible. And you managed to pass it on to me, I was watching this video and did one xerneas and one yveltal raid and both were shiny while entering my Pokedex.I have been watching since 2019 and though sometimes I left the game for a bit you would always make me come back. Thanks a lot for the quality content
Caught 10 shinties today, and had half the event locked for an hour due to connectivity issues. Happy with the shinies I was able to get but was extremely disappointed otherwise.
Shundo Snorlax run away from me yesterday because I was using a plus +. Guys were like yo there's a hundo snorlax....but I kind of forgot I was using automatic catching with regular pokeballs....so when I looked into my journal there it was. Shundo Snorlax that ran away. I havent looked at my journal since and I probably never will. It still hurts.
Everytime I watch you I always wondered what would have been different maybe I would be older and could go do all of the stuff you do in these videos but no I have to accept that I can't do that and that my time will come soon one day so until then I will always enjoy watching you make these amazing videos

The weekend/trip was one of the best things I've ever done. The time at the park was not that great though. First we had over 1 hour of nothing working. Then for the rest of my time I grinder and used the ++ catcher and only got 2 shanties over 3 hours. No makeup offered by Niantic of course. Met you at Central Park you were so nice. Looking forward to future events. Wish Niantic did a better job.
I think this is insane seeing so many people get so many shiny's while I got 11 during go fest London. Makes me really dissapointed. Good for you though Brendan looks like you had a great time :)

i was there today (saturday) and was able to use the end of hour shiny spawn replacement to get the ! unown and that was def my highlight of catches
