My favorite part of Endymion’s Lab is the the fact that it counts as Citadel. This was them saying, yes, this is how we entice people to play Master Magician in the deck.
Dude, no lie. You should do voice work for like, true crime or paranormal shows. Very cool vocal quality. Makes your videos sound more professional too.
It should be noted however that Endymion's Lab has applications in janky decks since you can summon very high level spellcasters from the deck with it, without any kind of restriction. Competitively it's bad, but for some funny decks it can help you pull of some rare summons lol.
As someone who's actually built a deck around the Endymion/Mythical Beast pendulum archetypes, i mostly recommend a decent helping of the spell book/prophecy archetype to help generate and regenerate a healthy engine of spell counters from using and reusing the books. Plus, I actually use a healthy dose of Synchros. Arcanite and Explosive Magicians, along with Night's End Administrator to begin whittling away at the opponent's graveyard resources with the large amount of monsters that are summoned. And I even have an Xyz monster in the Deck. A rank 8 in Thelemathech Clatis because that monster can also hold Spell Counters to further fuel resources. Edit: I also do play Rogue, but not for the reason you'd expect. I use Rogue as a way to constantly have a counter card to use Endymion's effect to negate. Since it'll always come back to my hand, I'll always have a least one card that i can reliably bounce without worrying about losing a large amount of counters.
Idk why people are complaining for rougue of Endymion, you rarely normal summon in thia deck and moat of the time is blue boy . Otger cards that search spell cards like ' left arm offering ' you must banish at least 2 cards from hand , mythical Bestiamorh you must wait 6 opp monster effect to happen , but its a continuous trap 🪤 so definitely waiting 1-2 at least for 6 counters . Based on the other cards for searching spell this aint that bad
You 100% right about Master Magician. Too slow even for 2009 standard , without citadel first turn deck is doing nothing. Even his stats not great and 6 counters for 1 spell from gy return , then to use spell to pop something nah ... And other cards too from that era were too slow , then the synchros were nice , obviously tempest got banned in todays game ftk easy . Explosive magician should have gained counters for each spell cause 2 counters to pop 1 spell is too much + you wasted 2 cards to summon him . Arcanite still amazing.
