Well almost all player in duel links limit their card by 20 in their decks i don't see a reason to create hybrid decks if all top players using specialized deck
@@nunyabiznes33 no, Heirloom protects one monster in case of no early Queen. Onsl@ught brings extra monsters while bouncing opposition. Late game though, Heirloom becomes redundant after Onsl@ught brings out Queen.

I would say its more of amazoness chain master that looks like mai it pretty much like an exact mirror image of mai if you look at her on the outside she has a similar body to mai shes kind of a bit butsy like mai and she even has that serious look that mai gives in a duel when ever mai is dueling she temds to look in a similar way that yugi does also her face is similar to mines as they both look really similar despite having a different skin tone and color the hair is also really similar as well as they both have a similar hair style except the hair is tied up the amazoness chains master pretty much shows every qaulity mine has a duelist in battle city unlike duelist kingdom where she was kind of childish despite obvious being the oldest person in yugis entire friend group and might be around a close age to kaiba as hes also older than the entire people yugi has as friends it shows in battle city just like in duelist kingdom shes more of a more focused duelist and can get her goals through any means possible even if it means sacrificing things along the line such as the life points requirement to get a specific card from an opponents hand or deck but in real life just the hand is a truly intresting design (how ever he legs are like that of a body builder whos been working out on her leg muscles and you won't want to put a rather large part of your body in her specific area if you know what i mean) ok for any person reading relax that wasn't serious ok dont take a small sense of humor to seriously But i think chains master looks more like her than any other although she does have a similar symbol on her head to the blue eyes ultimate dragon like a majin sign and perhaps tribal marking around her check.
I imagine that the Unfriendly Amazon was cast out of the Amazoness' after killing another. Kinda flavorful since she isn't part of the archetype but still alludes to it.
This Archtype needs to be retrained or beefed up to be awesome, some of their effects are decent but they need abit more POW to them in order to be awesome, barely any of their monsters go above 2k atk except Queen, Empress and Liger. For example instead of 100 ATK for Amazoness Paladin make it 300 ATK or 400 ATK.
If I remember right that was a error on the original card print. As I ran a Amazon deck back when Magician's forces came out and quickly got a errata to 1500 att to match its anime card.

I use a full Amazoness deck in Duel Links(Currently Plat 7/21), with 3 copies of Onslaught, Queen and Holy Guard as my skill. I have lost track of the amount of surrender because I have banished and bopped much larger monsters. Ancient Gear Golem, Quintet Magician, Various forms of Shooting Star and Red Dragon Archfiend. I play such an un-meta deck few know what to do and I love it. I call it Endless Onslaught
I wish Amazoness would get better support to actually make them somewhat competitive. Some kind of negate, generic removal, continuous protection from targeting effects.
Give them protection from card effects, since they focus on battle so much. Dying outside of battle is shameful to an Amazon, or something. It wouldn't be a permanent protection, maybe only once a turn or you have to banish an Amazon card from your GY each time.
this kind of needs an update since there are some not mentioned: The pendulum cards Amazoness gold chain master and Amazoness Silver sword master, Amazoness Augusta, Amazoness pet liger king, Amazoness war chief, Amazoness secret arts

Its not Even that broken anymore without queen or mist body swordswomen would get destroyed anyway and generally people ran decks that negate card effects so its really dampening the viability of swordswomans effect

Alone the swordswoman isint great that's why mist body comes in etc. Chalice only negates effect for that turn thou pretty much vanity dampens swords woman alone anyway thou vanity also don't last long but people would ran both at one point anyway I've seen some deck ran both chalice and vanity for good measure like I said swords woman is not that great anymore if they can remove her effect and if queen looses her effect so does the amazoness immortality unless mist body is active on one monster

From my experience: a Fusion spell to make Empress consistent, a link 2 for when/if Isolde is gone to help with grabbing a monster to fuse with, a Bastion-inspired monster to SS an Amazoness from the GY, and finish with an equip of some kind.

Well they’re getting a hefty nerf now that swordswoman is limited. They do deserve it though they were a pain in the butt to go against especially if it’s weevil (gets Vietnam flashbacks to parasite infestation with lava golem and amazoness *shivers* )

Amazoness Fighter attack used to be 1300. I still have that card. I still run two Amazoness Sword Woman in my deck. always got her out. People nicknamed her "B**** card".
nice video but one correction: the amazoness arquetype was inspired in the amazon rainforest indigenous tribes where there were only women, a example was the "Icamiabas" a full woman tribe that was discovered by a group of european expeditionary, who was lead by Fracisco Orelana, they founded a group of woman indian warriors who fight naked and lived in insolated tribes without any mans. i recomend you update this video watching the amazoness video of the brazilian youtuber Zubatata, they have more information what i'm talking about it, or try to search in the wikipedia.
The amazoness archetype in my opinion should not have been edited. I mean the yugioh amazons are a clan of warrior women and their packs help show how badass they really are. Editing them is like telling wonder woman to wear her adoptive 80 year old human grandmother's dress.
May I give a recommendation? It would be cool if you did a series covering the decks of the various yu gi oh characters and perhaps giving custom deck lists for them?
Amazoness Archetype is my fav type of deck I love playing casual matches against others. Sadly due to my locals being mostly heavy focused in Meta and Rouge decks, I am often have to be forced to play with my Pendulum Magicians instead just to compete. Since the Amazoness and the Harpies are also in Speed Duels, I choose to play with the Mai deck as well as mixing a few other cards to combine with my 3x of Amazoness Swordswoman and Harpy Lady 1 in my Speed Duel Deck. Such as a 3x of Mysical Elf as my defense monster which I can use when my field and hand lacks any other cards to play. Sadly all of my locals in my home town don't play Speed Duels and I am forced to go to my state capital to find others who at least have speed duel decks.

Amazoness Empress might have facial features based off of Mai, but Amazoness Paladin pretty much IS Mai.
It might be her soul monster. Like how Blue-eyes is Kisara's, Dark Magician is Maud's Dark Magician Girl is Tea's and Winged Kuriboh is Jaden's.

It is a great archetype, mechanically. Especially when focusing on Amazoness Onslaught and Sage with either Queen or Heirloom.

nice video but one correction: the amazoness arquetype was inspired in the amazon rainforest indigenous tribes where there were only women, a example was the "Icamiabas" a full woman tribe that was discovered by a group of european expeditionary, who was lead by Fracisco Orelana, they founded a group of woman indian warriors who fight naked and lived in insolated tribes without any mans.
i recomend you update this video watching the amazoness video of the brazilian youtuber Zubatata, they have more information what i'm talking about it, or try to search in the wikipedia.
The amazoness archetype in my opinion should not have been edited. I mean the yugioh amazons are a clan of warrior women and their packs help show how badass they really are. Editing them is like telling wonder woman to wear her adoptive 80 year old human grandmother's dress.

Amazoness Archetype is my fav type of deck I love playing casual matches against others.
Sadly due to my locals being mostly heavy focused in Meta and Rouge decks, I am often have to be forced to play with my Pendulum Magicians instead just to compete.
Since the Amazoness and the Harpies are also in Speed Duels, I choose to play with the Mai deck as well as mixing a few other cards to combine with my 3x of Amazoness Swordswoman and Harpy Lady 1 in my Speed Duel Deck. Such as a 3x of Mysical Elf as my defense monster which I can use when my field and hand lacks any other cards to play.
Sadly all of my locals in my home town don't play Speed Duels and I am forced to go to my state capital to find others who at least have speed duel decks.
Both of Mai's Archetypes got that heavy censored. Cause Konami TCG are like no boobs children's card game. Sure Konami sure

Then I guess they shouldn't get out of the house too since, you know, *there are women with big boobs in real life as well.* Also I love how they censor guns. Amazoness queen+amazoness swordswoman= checkmate. (Since queen prevents amazoness monsters from being destroyed by battle, and swordswoman makes your opponent take any damage you would take from a battle involving it)
