I believe it would have delayed the inevitable. Killing Ieyasu would have shattered the Eastern Army morale and made Yukimura look like a war god. But Hidetada would've been back with a vengeance to take Osaka eventually. I doubt Hideyori's forces would have been able to stage an effective counter-attack even if they did drive the Tokugawa back.
@RolandTheLight yes, indeed, the Sekigahara Western Army under Ishida Mitsunari was defeated awhile back. I've heard it called both ways for Osaka, Toyotomi vs. Tokugawa and Western vs. Eastern, because a lot of the ronin who gathered to support Hideyori at Osaka also supported Mitsunari's Western Army in the Sekigahara Campaign (Sanada Yukimura and Chosokabe Morichika are examples of this.)
Funny thing is, I'm actually a blood descendant of Yukimura...NO BS. (I did my family tree research.) So this actually begs the question...why am I not a super strong badass like Yukimura?
@@Darkoriax17 well Nobuyoki wasnt strong at alla as Yukimura, and he was a Sanada. I think in the case of Sanada, it wasn't question about strength but determination and the love of the clan.

Only masayuki sanada was the real badass in the sanada clan, i also think kaeji maeda, kenshin useugi, and tadakatsu honda were bigger warriors then nobushige.

The Toyotomi clan were the rightful rulers, Ieyasu was overthrowing them and somehow convinced people he was seeing through Hideyoshis ideals by overthrowing his son..... Mitsunari,Kanetsugu,Yukimura were morally right.
Dynasty Heroes kanetsugu until he joined the Tokugawa.. lmao but yeah. Yukimura is honestly the face of the warring states era, aside from I guess Ieyasu because he won the whole thing, nobunaga and hideyoshi. In terms of an actual warrior, yukimura is the face of it imo. He had the right ideals, mindset and life of a warrior

Best theme in the game for me. What a morale boost this is on hardest difficulty.
It almost sounds like Dynasty Warriors' music snuck in. I think it adds to the typical techno flare of Samurai Warriors music.
