his mario combos are very conditional and that is why you don't see him successfully doing these combos on top players frequently(not saying he never did). Ally is an overall better player than Zenyou, but yes, Zenyou's combos do look more flashy, but its harder to get on top players.
MkLeo has beautiful perfect pivots but he doesn't combo tilts with them, you don't really do that with marth. Void and Zenyou use perfect pivots to extend combos whereas Leo uses them to outspace his opponents
One thing i wish more marth players would do is to space tilts with perfect pivots, like jab to pp ftilt, i feel like perfect pivoting is still a criminally underused tech in the current sm4sh meta
AstraMC i think people just don't think it's neccesary. some characters don't care about it but at the very least it's one of the most effective spacing tools, it's execution isn't even that hard with a bit of practice, definitely easier than wavedashing.
Something I love about competitive is you can see players who have insane punish games like this who still aren't in top 5 or 10 because to get to that point it's a healthy balance of a lot of different qualities that make a good player. Some insane punish game but I don't know this player, never heard of him

Dash Bee Void (the white Shiek) must have DIing upwards trying to get away during that time. That's the only reason I and the commentator can explain for that really early kill. As for other cases like the Peach one, it's actually that Mario's first hit of up B sends you much higher than if you did the normal combo. Zenyou is actually pretty good at getting just the first hit. Watch 6WX vs Ally's cheese kill at 0% (at Paragon 2015?) and you'll see what I mean. That's the first time I was I introduced to that property of the 1st hit of up B.
I'm just saying it doesn't take much effort to play Mario. I'm a Mario main, I know there are bad matchups for him. It just doesn't take much effort to use him and be good.
