The crowd cheering for Tsu after ZeRo already won the grand finals perfectly shows why he stop playing competitively. He just worked his ass off to win an extremely stressful and difficult match and he gets to celebrate for two seconds before realizing everyone in the crowd was and still is routing against him
Gash sad thing is that’s the way for sports to. New England patriots were practically always make it to the finals and everyone wanted them to lose. Besides far east states. Players like Lebron and curry would always be against them because they were on super teams. People switch up on their icons because they want variety and they like seeing the underdogs win. Goes to show how many out there are true fans in competitive sports and esports community’s 🤔
Hans yeah it’s weird but it’s also weird because it goes the other way sometimes like LeBron and Curry having so many fans even tho they dominate. Sometimes tops players/teams are loved because they dominate and sometimes they’re hated.
Bruh have you actually seen the video. Yes they cheered for TSU cause he was the underdog and upsets are always hype to the crowd, but they also cheered ZeRo for being able to keep his legacy alive. The crowd cheered on both of them. I’m not saying your exactly wrong here, Smash tournament crowds are for the most part the main reason why ZeRo no longer competes, but this shouldn’t be the example. This was one of those sets where the crowd didn’t see the competitors, they just saw a damn good match and were hella hyped by the performance of both players. It’s one of the times where the tournament crowd was actually pretty awesome.
I feel bad saying this but I like the sm4sh mechanics a lot better... as ultimate gets more optimized I’m sure that’ll change but power shields and non directional air dodges meant for much more read-heavy sets IMO
Yeah I see what you mean, it’s just that I haven’t touched for in a long time and could visually see all the changes and improvements on the graphics. It looks so clean now
Ethan Busse the esam combo and the raito spike were fucking insane, the others were truly just moments. There was a time when cloud was popular and zero was just spiking every cloud after throwing them of the ledge, thise were crazy too.
M2k really wasnt the best at smash 4, only ever saw him occasinally pop up in top 64 maybe at a super major. Definitely not the level of dominance in brawl or melee
Zero's awareness is so scary yet awesome to see, he b reversed to dodge raitos neutral b and repositioned himself to spike my god that was sooooo clean
Our Boy Roy My man, he spiked him on top platform to get a regrab and upthrow upair off the top. It was just an amazing play but like...mr r has a family and zero murdered him anyways
this should be called best zero moments, up throw up air vs ranai back when that was consistent with sheik isnt an amazing play, but the win itself is an amazing one, same thing with the tsu set, the up smash to win the set wasnt really an amazing play, but winning the set and zero getting the W makes it a great moment
I love at 6:39 his gf comes over to give him some love after that just happend that probably helped zero I cant tell he was stresssed out after that and what an amazing way to win a tournament
ZeRo is still considered to be the best smash player to ever play in the Chile scene (where he grew up) and the whole world. He gets so much hate for nothing and quits because how rude the community is. ZeRo was by far the most gifted player out of them all include some harsh conditioning he did during his grind. edit: ZeRo's run in Evo 2015 is still considered to be the best run in his career because of his performance in that tournament was unmatched. pretty much winning every map he plays, especually closing out on Grand Finals on Mr. R (Ramen).
As much as I miss him too sometimes, I don’t think he should come back to this community ever again. What he did was terrible and if he were to come back, I doubt that the community would welcome him with open arms.
@@winterv.4715 I believe that people can change. He made that mistake when he was a lot younger. He was a completely different person by the time it came out. I believe that people make errors, but they can learn from them. I would be one to support him coming back so long as the victim is ok with it as well.
I love you Zero, sm4sh wouldn't be what it is today if it wasn't for you. Thank you so much for everything you've done for the community, and you will always be the best no matter what.
Look at the crowd at 0:23. Even after making a sweet play, the crowd seems unhappy and clapping because they have to. I may be overthinking it because i watched zero's newer video about everyone disliking him, but that seems so sad.
Tv Tv Yeah but you have to understand what was behind this match. Renai was gaining a lot of popularity in Japan and people were starting to say he may be the best player in the world. Zero who WAS the best player in the world, played him to go to grand finals so there was a lot of hype behind that set. You’re right tho not a hard conversion but clutch and it solidified Zeros spot as the GOAT

He made m2k look like he'd never played smash before
Ikr
2020 anyone?
nah just made cloud look bad
I guess but then again m2k played mele
Well...this aged bad
M2K and ZeRo aren't friends anymore, that's what I'd heard from an short
The crowd cheering for Tsu after ZeRo already won the grand finals perfectly shows why he stop playing competitively. He just worked his ass off to win an extremely stressful and difficult match and he gets to celebrate for two seconds before realizing everyone in the crowd was and still is routing against him
Honestly just so stupid. There will be nobody else who comes close to #1 like Zero

They were probably trying to cheer up tsu honestly.
After ultimate this looks so weird
I feel bad saying this but I like the sm4sh mechanics a lot better... as ultimate gets more optimized I’m sure that’ll change but power shields and non directional air dodges meant for much more read-heavy sets IMO

@@nickcotton5556 and the difference in launch speed makes sets borderline unwatchable-- it's like they're playing on the moon
Yeah it’s so weird
Trevor don’t feel bad, Smash 4 is way better than ultimate gameplay-wise
Tsu vs Zero is the best set i've seen in my entire life
Very agreed
Bruh that honestly has always been my favorite smash set. Even above anything from melee.
Shame it ended up being a false victory, didnt zero say that somehow reduced knockback was turned on for that and a couple other sets?
@@ChrisPBacon-zf5gm I still wonder to this day how that up-smash didn't kill Zero. But it is what it is.
I really wanted tsu to win 😢
JV3'ing M2K to getting head is a true combo. 6:40
Cody "The Machine" lol
Underrated comment lol
Kaputtnix Thanks😂
Zero lookin like, “give me a sec, I just murdered my mentor what have I done? Alright let’s go.”
10:19 plot armor activated
6:45 I luv how his gf is so supportive and immediately cuddles him

No I be the best
I love ESAM when he lost in clip 1 his face was like DAMN YOUR GOOD. I love ZeRo aswell, that’s why I’m here.
For ZeRo’s retirement
The one against raito is the best trick ever. No one saw that coming.
Saul Muratalla Raito is an amazing player lol
@3:55
Oh god that massacre of M2K was truly disgusting
3:57 best edge guard and air movement I’ve EVER seen in sm4sh...
10 plays, 11 minutes
ZeRo liked to slowly murder his enemies...
Or was sm4sh just that slow lol
5:54 will always be my fav, BACK RUB OP
Badkitty239 LOOOL that was ur vid
Casually JV3 stocks m2k
that jv has no price
Lmao he was rlly not feeling his girl there
0:46 i see sky williams has taken up commentating after getting beat by dunkey
ESAM was so shocked when he got weak naired into up smash
top 10 vanessa plays of all time
1:04 His best plays of all time is downthrow to upair
9:04 another great play an up tilt
The significance of that play leading to the victory is what makes these 2 in the list. I can understand
what you mean though.
Michael i am sure you can find better plays to the best player of all time.
I can see the hype in the set zero vs ranai so i can understand that
the best play ever
It's a video of plays, not combos. The lead-up to the kill is what should be watched
10:20 gotta love how the crowd did the hoo hah chant but then zero tricks them by dair spiking > regrab > actual hoo hah
The one with Tsu is the best
imagine if Tsu won, he would show up in more tournaments and play more outside of Japan
Pfff asians bow down to the god known as zero
Oh ZeRo......
7:00 will always be my favorite I remember biting my nails watching this set.
naeng-gi yea mr was playing CRISP that tournament i remember first set zero got kinda bodied by his cloud
You should have called this best moments not plays.
Many of these are hardly plays
Ok but that combo on ESAM at BH5 was a play and a half
Thank you!
Ethan Busse the esam combo and the raito spike were fucking insane, the others were truly just moments. There was a time when cloud was popular and zero was just spiking every cloud after throwing them of the ledge, thise were crazy too.
It's like people forgot who the smash god was just because he doesn't play
after all that happened in the smash community, sometimes i come back here to reminisce on the simpler times. hope ZeRo comes back to youtube one day
Me to
he did and he is better than ever
@@JaguarProgkinda true lugartech
Hot damn ZeRo was a beast back then. I almost forgot...his reaction speed is so much faster than him now 😂😂😂😂
I'm here after the allegations and I'm sad
Don't be, Jisu and Leffen's reputations are destroyed. ZeRo is finally at peace, outside from Internet and living his life.
4:26 Had me on the edge of my seat!
At 9:12 u can see a legend waiting for his turn in the spotlight.
"He just died dude!
He took so much damage for no reason bro!"
*Hyena laughs*
ZeRo is the best. He will forever be the best. No one will ever be a greater player than him.
3:53 is exactly the play I was hoping to see
Crazy to think how much of a GOD he was at smash 4. Literally ended m2k in like 30 seconds.
M2k really wasnt the best at smash 4, only ever saw him occasinally pop up in top 64 maybe at a super major. Definitely not the level of dominance in brawl or melee
3:54 most things that were considered sick in smash 4 are seen as fairly standard and whatever in ultimate. but this is still awesome
Zero's awareness is so scary yet awesome to see, he b reversed to dodge raitos neutral b and repositioned himself to spike my god that was sooooo clean
Iconic caveman D1 "SHIELD SMALL SHIELD SMALL"
That evo combo is still my favorite of his. It was so unnecessary to do something so vile and he did it anyways
Pajama Zam it wouldn't have killed if he didn't
Our Boy Roy My man, he spiked him on top platform to get a regrab and upthrow upair off the top. It was just an amazing play but like...mr r has a family and zero murdered him anyways
Pajama Zam it's super flashy yes, but it was the only way to get a kill off the top of battlefield from a grab at ~50%
My favourite smash 4 play of all time regardless
@@ourboyroy9398 Yeah but he was 2-0 and Mr R was in losers. In the grand scheme of things that comeback was unnecessary.
So intense at 4:45, the announcers mouth gulp at about 5:02 got me rolling!

For eva de best.
But I do hope that now Players like VoiD really step it up and make their legacy.

After I believe 4 seasons of Smash he is no stepping down from number one. Goodbye ZeRo ;w;
