After a long time I got your notification , how are you doing I hope you are doing great there .
And such a wonderful topic to tackle but overhear we aren't allowed to use shorts notes or else chits while presenting .
Over all it's true we do forget these things when it comes to delivering speeches towards 50+ audiences 😅 .
Thank you for the video .
Any tips to be more confident while being in front of people ?

    Do I have correct information
    We use get + v3
    In 2 situations
    1. We use get + v3 as passive which is used in informal English and not used with stative verbs .
    I was selected / I got selected.
    2. For unfortunate situation
I got injured , she got robbed , she gets fired ( used for unfortunate situations which we don't want to face )

Hello mam this was very helpful
Excuse me teacher as a new learner I have few sentences in passive , they say you can't use stative verbs with continuous tenses and perfect continuous tense, but what if stative verbs are used in passive continuous or passive prefect continuous .
    Like
    We can't say
    I'm believing it .
    She is considering it .
    They are loving it .
They are forgetting about it .
I've been looking for this for a while .
And so on as we know these verbs aren't used in active continuous and perfect continuous tenses.
How about these verbs with passive
    I'm being loved .
    It is being understood .
    It is being doubted .
    It was being heard.
Can these stative verbs be used in passive continuous
    * In passive we have only present past and future continuous we don't have present past and future perfect continuous .*
    Thank you .

Sometimes we use stative verbs in the continuous both active and passive!

    • @PHANTOM__EDITZ
      @PHANTOM__EDITZ 10 месяцев назад

@@LearnAcademicEnglish but according to grammar stative verbs aren't used with continuous and perfect continuous tense both active and passive except few stative verbs .
      Like
      Like love hate .
We can say I'm being loved.
      I am loving this .
      But we can't say
      I'm believing this
      Or
      It is being preferred.

Stative verbs are complicated because yes, it is true that we typically do NOT use them in progressive, but sometimes we do to emphasize that it is happening right now. For example, we often say "I am loving this new book!" or "I'm listening to what you are saying but I'm not really believing it."
You are right that we don't use them in passive.
