  • In this video we'll define momentum and impulse. Then we'll use Newton's 2nd law to derive the impulse momentum theorem. We'll look at situations where momentum is conserved. These include elastic, inelastic, perfectly inelastic and explosion situations. We'll also look at how momentum is conserved in 2-dimensional problems. Lastly we'll define center of mass and look at problems where we can use center of mass to help solve problems.
