This is the English Dub of the first Death Note Anime Opening, "The World", originally recorded by the band NIGHTMARE
"Evil is a flower that can sprout from good intentions too." That line pretty much sums up the whole of the series.

@@HarshSingh-fy5wv The shinikami Ryuk wanted to have fun watching humans struggle with a weapon that breaks morality and splits reality apart. As he says himself, he has watched others struggle with the Death Note and killed some people they disliked to the point of hatred, but then stopped writing names. No human exceeded the use of a couple of pages till Light came to possess the Death Note.
Ryuk was pleased with the outcome watching as Light Yagami claimed he wanted to rid of all evil and create a world where sins are punished by death and he is the one and only god they will respect and fear. Sins wash away and not all bare the same weight. We grow and learn to forgive as well as remember the acts we make and everyone else's too! Killing a criminal doesn't make you less of a criminal but it will be remembered as an act against evil. Every human's life is priceless and Light killed criminals, policemen, agents, as well as bystanders who wanted to do good. There was no discrimination and L as well as everyone else knew that. It is an old story about some brat who wanted to punish evil but then cowers before his own demise. Even the most filthy of monsters have the right to come clean and face punishment. Punishment by Death Note was not enough in any way, because those who had committed greater crimes than thievery or killing a single person, are marked by life as a disgrace and are hunted till they live to see themselves dying the same and pathetic way Light did. Light's death was the perfect ending to the series as well as the humiliation he suffered. It was a well deserved death for a false prophet humanity didn't need. His actions caused riots and terrorism, just like all other fanatics, his fans were all the same trash as he and the people he killed were.
@@HarshSingh-fy5wv Ryuk knew the death note would cause humans chaos and panic and figured it would be fun. L knew what Light was trying to “rid the world of evil” but he said that the way he decided on carrying that out was not good.
Five years almost six now, and this English cover still beats all others. Been listening to you guys since 2014, heres to 2020!

Hey man, I am new to channel and didn't know at first, cuz I haven't watched the Death Note when first saw this channel. But after seeing it. I searched for English cover of Op and ED of Death Note. And I like this channel's covers(because they are good) and saw the channels name again. And then I found out it was related to Death Note. And posted a comment because I found a tiny detail and thought someone who didn't notice should know the channel's name was related to Death Note. When actually they did the cover of the series the based their channel's name after 3 years.(correct me if I am wrong about 3 years.). Now your comment would be a compliment rather than insult(in a jocular way, I suppose?).

English isn't his first language so overall he pronounced things well.
I think he did it because on the original the singer sing it as Mesiah and not Mesaiah that is the right pronounciation :)

Yami Nightmare no. you needing to say that him not having english as a first language as if that wasn't obvious implies that you think i am hating. english wasn't my first language either, but i speak it fluently and my criticism is just to help point out a flaw i saw he can work on to improve on since i believe he wants to get better aswell.
