@@EdWilder-v6t I was going to replace the rear with a 150/70 but decided to keep the 140/70 because I like that it lowers the rear slightly and is still a recommended size for a 4.25" rim. In my video I said my front rim is 2.15" but I misspoke it's a 19x2.5" but 110/80 is what's recommended for that size. Are you using a 3.5" front rim?
@@EdWilder-v6t Unfortunately youtube doesn't let you attach pictures. My previous wheel was a 17x3.5 but the rim was cracked so I decided to try the 19" and I'm very happy with it, I also had a DR with the 21" so I've run all three wheel and tire setups- stock, super moto, and adventure.
With the 17" the bike falls over in a lean and has very little stability. The 19" is so neutral you can enter the turn and almost take your hands off the bars and the lean angle will stay the same.
I weighed the bike at the local scrapyard the other day and they said it was 360 lbs, that's lighter than a modern 400cc bike!
I did a 120x90x17 shinko on the front and it barely fit but made the tires the same height with a 150x70x17 in the rear

@@SumoAustin I like the way it looks and it makes the tire height the same but it's a lot of tire and I can feel the weight
I gave you your first like big guy love the bike 🦾🏍️
Which tire size did you go with?
@@Krillionaire-z6l 110/80/19 front 140/70/17 rear but that will be replaced with a 150 when this one wears out.
Nice! Why do you prefer the 19 front over the 17?
