- All the music on my channel is original and crafted IN my cabin. Here’s an inside look at an off-grid recording session at my cabin in Alaska. The channel needed some new music so we set up the microphones and went to work. Armed with a banjo and guitar, my friend Forest and I spend 2 days writing and recording original music for my channel, including a new theme song. Good food, good tunes, and good times.

I was born and raised in the hills of East Tennessee and I really love the banjo, acoustic guitar and mandolin. You laid down a nice track for your channel, love it. Someone needs to bring in a fiddle.

Oh man that sounded amazing. I started recording again out of Covid insanity. GarageBand, Behringer UMC 22 , and a $50.00 Beringer C-1 condenser, which sounds perfectly fine, (if well placed). but dudes, you just sold me on those Rhodes , I never heard them played in bluegrass home recording , oh wow, nice tight pattern, and no annoying overtones , which is what I'm battling. And you didn't even pad the walls, amazing. So my upgrade will be those. Nice low tones on the Martin without going gu-dush. I'm gonna forward this to a cabin lady on YT who might hire you if she didn't already. Bravo!

Okay this one grabbed me by the seat of my pants.
I've done my share of campfire, woodshed, cabin jamming and other exotic places.
But the esthetics, acoustics and just plain charm of what I'm seeing and hearing makes for something extra special.
To my mind (and to my ear) the sound of this originality is an extra special thing to add to all of your endeavor. You say it was all recorded in the cabin. Well that integrity makes even more sense. I dig the compositions, and I think they match and blend perfectly what it is that you present online.
And of course it's real music. Not something chuffed up like a frozen dinner. The real thing.
I have to say this vid brought back some long past, far distant but still warm memories of magic moments shared with various musical buds. An awful lot of mileage comes from memories like that. Of course I miss those times.

Great music! I have had a great week! I decided I wanted to go hiking so I tried going up a trail called Bird Ridge, I’m not sure if you’re heard of it. Well long story short I just about died from exhaustion. I don’t know how people can hike it easily it is soooo steep. Lol I was so hungry after so I went to this place called Yak & Yeti and let me tell you brother it was just what I needed. I had this beef curry plus some Masala and one of these comically large oreos. You’ll never guess what it was called “moreo” at least I think that’s how it was spelled. But it’s short for more Oreo I guess. Lololol
