Less refined than ground bait but just as effective, pack bait is the American carp angler's best friend. It works, it's easy to make, and it's very cheap.

That's some gourmet carp bait right there.
I'm running a D&D campaign and my players are obsessed with fishing, so these videos are incredibly helpful. Thank you for sharing!
i see you have some HEB products, i actually work there.. the one in Bellaire area! Keep up the good work, glad you can now do this as your job!
Will definitely give it a try. Thanks for sharing
For the subscribers who are not familiar with HEB. HEB is Texas based supermarket company with grocery stores in Texas & Mexico. HEB is the bomb! I been working at HEB for 20 years and love my customers and fellow partners (employees).
Right on partner I can’t wait to say I’ve been with the company 20years I work RDC
Thank you for another interesting and informative video. I really enjoy them. I noticed that your pack bait formed up readily and held its shape well and appeared to be quite clay-like. I wonder what your bait break down time would be, or if you were using the pack bait as a dough bait?
Didn't know you carp fish! That's awesome
came a long way since the 1st video of your bait i watched good deal brother fishon!!!!
Hello my friend! first time committing, long time fan. Awesome bait for carp! Great video 👍👍👍
The lard seems like a really good idea. I’ve hard trouble with my pack bait being a bit too crumbly. Gonna give that a try
Lard is good but anytime it is too crumbly just add more liquid, water will do
@@WMBayouLures thanks for the advice. Next time I make bait, I'll use lard. And if i'm ever out and my bait is crumbly, I'll just scoop up some water
Great info thanks
Glad you are uploading more often now
But I'm still waiting for that gar and catfish video lol
Thanks🎣🎣🎣
Have made this a few times and it def works! Carp seem to like it and i even somehow got a northern pike as well using it with corn as hookbait. For those fishing in cold, still water, id add more oats and less lard as it will fall apart easier.
Awesome boss
I made your recipe. It was interesting. One batch I made exactly the same. One batch I made, I substituted blood bait in place of sardines. Results were interesting.
I'd like an Email address to share those results. You might be interested.
Doing a tank test would show how the bait reacts in the water Thanks from the UK.
Hi mate Rob from England my recomendation would be to add salt in the way of Anchovies, carp love salt .,natural salt.also a little sugar, always the two together. Just to say you are bang on with the milk 👍
Alternatively you could use what I use but keep it secret 👀Chinese fish sauce 👍 Oh yes.
Oh and did I mention the chilli powder shoosh secret 👀 👍
Can u do a gar catch n cook. Can u also do a video of how to gar fish n give out a location so ppls know where to catch monster gar. I would really appreciate it 👍🏾👍🏾
Can u do another will sharks eat carp and try to get a big ol shark
Use the can opener on the top 😂
Will this work to catch redfish in Galveston bay?
Good 👍 excellent
Breakdown test? It looks like it wouldn't break. What's the time to break and could u show it?
Why do I feel a carp video coming on
Nice try cheese for the binding ingredient its great
Try pop rice in it, it will become fire to attract fish.
Hell ya HEB bread is the best
When do you set the hook with pac bait?
Well, id say pretty much as soon as your line starts to take off assuming a fish picked up the bait and ran off. Sometimes the fish will even hook itself
@@PlasticRocket2 Thanks!
a while back you used eggs as binding agent. why the change?
I use lard when fishing stronger currents and eggs (or neither) when fishing still waters.
Lard will hold anything together
10:28 did you not pour it carefully?
couldnt you use a couple tubes of panko bread crumb instead of the 2 loaves of bread ??
You do this lots of different ways, this is just one way I particularly like
@@wildlifefishingshow I don't have a quisinart so that's y I was asking bout the bread crumbs
What kind of fish would go for this? I'd imagine catfish since they eat everything hah
Yeah, catfish and carp (and buffalo). This is what I'm using in 99% of my carp videos.
I would say almost all carp species that eat stuff of floor
Where's the hook?
Do you hunt game like small game upland game bird deer hog
0:46 you didn’t explain that
If these fish don't die from catching them for sure with high cholesterol
Fish going to get fat 🤣
1st
Do I store this in fridge?
Yes
@@wildlifefishingshow cool thank you
